Hi Roy... I've only cleaned a few 50ps and never had the problem you described. I just give them a really good rinse in cold water after dipping them... I think any collector has a bit of ocd when they know they are missing something from their collection!! 😁
Hi thanks for reply yes it’s odd I dip I wash just as you and yes pat dry on clean microfibre cloth but after less then a week they take on a ginger tinge but I gave them a pip of Liquid Metal polish and a good rub on the cloth and mint again nothing wrong with OCD buddy we’ve all got it lol 😆 xx Royboy Yorkshire xx

Yes sir I do that Is why I dropped you the message out of curiosity as i watched you dip & swizzle in clean solution then straight into wash and they look good it’s few days after some of mine have the Tinge ?? Bugger have good week keep well x Royboy
..those most hated 50p's u have..if u hate them so much put them into circulation..then they would be an nifc coin 4 sum1 to find..making them exciting 50p's instead..😏

Why would I buy them to put them into circulation? I may not like them, but as they are 50p's, I still need them in the collection...
