    I cannot thank you enough!
    Exactly the same problem on my KL250 Super Sherpa!
    I found the 30a blade fuse plugged in below my solenoid and checked it. All good but still no power…
    I never imagined that it was just the spare!
    After watching your video, I pulled the top plug off of my solenoid to reveal the blown 30a fuse!
    You are the man!
    Thanks for taking the time to post this video.

    I did everything you did but, had to go an extra step (diff bike). It turns out the ignition switch when "turned" it didn't "make contact", so no power. Idk much about bikes but, I just followed the link, from battery, fuses, relay and lastly, the issue was at the switch.

    • @busakiller1117

    • @ctinieblas1228
      @ctinieblas1228 Před 3 lety +1

      @@busakiller1117 My switch when "turned" its supposed to "make contact" with another metal piece, so the energy flows. It was not making "contact" (had to put the small pieces together, then once it make contact, the rest would work. I came back to work on it another day, and I guess I "moved" something else, and now I need to figure that other part out.
      But yours, it sounds like too much energy is going thru....every electric part (as I understand), is only able to handle so much "energy". If the fuse is blowing (preventing the headlight to blow up), its because too much energy is going thru. It seems you'd need to go backwards to find the issue. Good thing about CZcams, there is videos for almost everything....may want to look at those where guys show how to test the current/energy. I don't have the knowledge but like most ppl, if there is time, I'd learn from others and try things out. But, I know how frustrating this can be. Good luck !

      check your battery cables make sure they are not loose and have good connection and bolts are tight, next check all fuses, if your relay has no fuse then install one back in most all relays have a fuse to it some are in a traditional form and others look like a small black square box.

      there must be a short somewhere in the wiring, you will have to follow all the wires there must be a wire that is making contact with metal or another wire causing it to malfunction.

      you have a short somewhere , this is where its going to get time consuming in looking for it. check all the wires looking for fryed or burned wires, any wires that are exposed and touching metal, switches, other fuses , cables to the battery, the battery itself, etc etc.

      does it crank? if yes you have to check spark, gas and air.
      if it does nothing at all at push start, you have a sensor issue,maybe side stand, motorcycle tilt sensor or Killswitch at work
