They weren't invited to actually compete though. They were more than likely a marketing invite. Those four together bring viewers. Without viewers these big payout tournaments don't happen. Doesn't really matter if they finish because next time someone wants to put on a tournament their viewers still count as a selling point to potential sponsors.
