i'am really glad Anthony because you understand our music industry and you're right we raise the bar so high and our industry is so competitive than e can't count how many amazing singer , dancer , rapper we got in our country and we talk about thos who got the chance to debut a career . but thousands are still trainee or in struggle to find a label or an agency but they're also amazing . we are more than 52 millions people in korea and almost 15 % work in a music industry it's hugh .

The song was almost haunting and I don't remember the original giving me that, like that chill down to my bones.
She really just has such a unique sound that I really felt like I wasn't really ready for her. I am sure during the song some of you probably noticed that my mouth was hanging open and I had to remind myself to actually close my mouth so I don't look like a big dummy.
I am not really sure why shes not better known here in the US, because honestly, before people were telling me in the comments to listen to her, I had never even heard of her. But somethings telling me that's probably not going to be the case for too much longer because she has a lot of talent and she is super unique. I feel like that's going to take her really far. Thank you guys for recommending this. She was awesome.

got a little confused watching but js to clear things off this for those who don't know.. this is not kpop lol khiphop + krnb are separate genres which ppl for some reason cannot differentiate but ik it's not that big to the "outsiders". i got into kpop when i was young and back then i didn't enjoy rap, etc. but now my whole taste in music has changed (i still like kpop lol just a bit more picky). krnb+khiphop is fire and really needs to get mainstream

this is not kpop is khh (k hiphop/krap) !! there a big difference in the music style and the industry kpop rappers and khh rappers has a lot of differences! The ones performing in the VVS song they are all k hiphop rappers and the VVS song is not a kpop song who has a hiphop style that song is hiphop and SMTM is a rap competition of hiphop! But yeah it has some pop vibe to it but you wouldn’t see that in kpop 😭 Kpop and K hiphop industry and music is completly different the labels , their live style etc in south korea there not just kpop as a music style there hiphop (like american hiphop) and rnb too!! just to let you know because i know you are getting into it!! Yep. Pretty much every genre you can imagine exists in Korea. Just need to look for it. Just like in other countries, there is what is popular but it doesn’t mean it’s the only thing that exists there. K-pop (charting popular music that can include ballads/OSTs/Idol music), Idol music, K-Hip Hop, K-Indie, K-Jazz, K-Rock and it goes on and on and on. I’ve heard this said of K-Hip Hop by an American Hip Hop producer who was talking about what he enjoys working with Korean Hip Hop is that since KHH basically took off a little more than a decade after in the US (mostly because of the influx of Korean Americans born and raised in the US being influenced by American Early Hip Hop and bringing in those roots to Korea), they branched off in incorporating different styles but with the same roots of influence. But because of the decade divide, it’s like a time warp but if production standards/equipment of now existed back then, it would have influenced the direction American HH would have gone. Sorry that didn’t make sense. Basically they like working in Korea because it shares the same roots in music and inspirations but you can clearly hear when the divide happened in sound. KHH tends to express the large emotional range of AHH from the 80’s and 90’s. The KHH company owners tend to be American born, American raised and moved to Korea to pursue music because they couldn’t pursue their love of hip hop in the US because they were Korean American.

It annoy me when people who are getting into KHH they think is a kpop song is not 😭😭 like the VVS performance at SMTM thats 100% hiphop i mean the song , the production and the way they are performing with the swag and everything the beat is cleary hiphop even tho it has some pop vibes to it but you can’t say is kpop bro kpop is SO different the music , their performances , their lifestyle and their labels and kpop is pop music i get it the confusion bc there some songs who has rnb sound or hiphop etc yes and there groups who make hiphop music with a lot of rap like stray kids they are mainly ab hiphop (i stan them they are my ult) ! But skz music even tho is hiphop is cleary kpop the beat drops etc you don’t see that in khh😭 and KPOP is a whole universe and K HIPHOP is another universe they are both completely different they are not the same at all.. when i got into khh i started with jay park then discovered h1ghr music and a tons of others rappers and when i got into khh i immediately knew it was hiphop aka the hiphop industry i wasnt like oh thats kpop with hiphop beat!💀 like when i say khh is like americain hiphop not just music wise but like i’m talking about how they live and their works like exemple they all have labels but they don’t have rules to follow like kpop trainees and they work go home or hang out with friends or filmed hiphop content and the rappers are allowed to have girlfriends or boyfriends they can drink alchool , smoke weeds or cigarettes , have tattooes basically like american rappers in the u.s so its definetely not kpop

For me the distinction between khh and kpop is not musically or during performances because many kpop artists have done things that look like khh things u described and khh artists can do the opposite. Differences come from the values they defend, the freedom(lyrics especially), the views khh have... And here we could still find counterexamples.
For me the only real difference And kpop have idols that have been trained by companies while khh artists not
