I never knew about SWV when they were coming up, but I do know Coco was featured on the "Men in Black" track by Will Smith, doing the hook and she killed that hook!
In the 90s there were so many women who were vocally talented and had dark skin. That was all blocked for whatever reason and now there's just the one fair skin girl who took her vocal cues from the legendaries like SWV to be the top pop artist right now.
