Ipsita I follow south indian cinema more than bollywood. They hv better content in their better movies which is a small percentage of their total number of movies per year
When you guys said people could recognize him from his "smell", I can attest to that. I was a sound engineer on the music for this film and Happy New Year, so I got to meet SRK multiple times during those years. And I always knew when he was in the studio just because of this particular cologne he wears that I've not smelled anywhere else haha

In my point of view... For me movie was really really hilarious.. Because of inside jokes, deepeeka's accent, acting, and clever sarcasm.... But certainly for a non hindi speaking person it won't be that much fun.. (personal view point, it would be.. but u will miss most of the things in subtitles probably)

I get so excited when I recognize things too. Especially singer's voices. I had heard only one song from a woman but I immediately recognized the voice, the song she was from, and the movie that it was in. Srk helped me start recognizing playback singers because whenever I heard Udit or Sonu I thought it didn't fit the actor unless it was Shahrukh

Rohit Shetty is honestly underrated. Just because the movie doesn't have a real life touch to it or a hard hitting story, doesn't mean it is a bad film. These are fun popcorn entertainers and I doubt there is another director out there who has the caliber to make this kind of film with conviction and make it work at the box office.
I don't think his underrated most of people know him and really love his movies mainly with family while talking about making fun of him there are many directors like him hollywood and tolly, kolly wood every one what expect from them because mature people surely know their skills and speciality and so they watch film only for entertainment and talking about making fun of them its fine if it is in healthy manner
it won an award and it's srk so whatever it is it's awesome about him........one of the best movies

That waterfall is real it is in Goa.. it heavenly.. very very beautiful. It's Dudhsagar waterfall in Goa. When you visit India you have to visit Goa. Goa is heaven on Earth.
