the reason why hange said the more the female titan heals the more they become immobilized is because the bones or whatever supporting muscle heals it wraps around the cable not giving its purpose for mobility
It's more like Goddess Titan in Japanese ;)

When the wounds heal, the barbed arrowheads become more firmly attached. That, by itself, wouldn't keep a titan from moving. But each arrow is tied to a cable - mooring the titan in place.
So, the more the wounds heal, the more secure the cables become.
Love how they accidentally figured out a major plot point but won't realize what it was for another 2 seasons XD

Armin figured that the Female Titan was trying to capture Eren, so saying that he was killed makes her think for a second if that was a possibility. If it was true, then she failed. Armin’s distraction and also confirmation ended up saving Jean. As Jean said, as soon as she grabbed his cable, he was dead. Armin kept her from grabbing the wire.
You know what my favorite episode is not season 2 episode 6 or even the basement episode. It's season 3 episode 11 (on which episode you currently are). There is a particular moment when Kalra (Eren's mom) is saying Eren is special just because he was born into this world. That's the best moment for me in the entire AOT, especially after season 4 when we knew certain things about when Kalra died, and I rewatch this season 3 episode 11. My tears burst out of my eyes.

I love watching aot with you together. It feels like watching it for the first time again. I really enjoy going through all these twists and turns of the plot and seeing your reactions to it. It's an emotional rollercoaster and it's so captivating to relive all of this!
One thing you missed in this episode, the human escaped from within the Female titan's body using the titan's steam. Like Erwin said, the steam is able to low the visibility. It mean that the human inside used that as a camouflage to escape from the titan and the Survey Corps, who were not able anymore to see correctly what was going on.

@@XIII13X I only watched season 1 when it came out and was waiting for season 2 (or I couldnt find season 2). When season 2 came out (or I found it), I was just too busy and I would have to watch season 1 again. I think thats what happened. I won't read the comments. As they are watching it now I started it again.

8:09 It's a bit of a small detail but something I notice upon rewatching, that Levi seems surprised Eren listened to him a little bit.
14:38 as much as the show makes it seem like it's easy to finish off Titan's, It's really tricky to get the right depth and angle to do it every time. The people who do it are usually the really skilled soldiers that we see more often. It's generally too unsafe to go after Titans When you're pretty much anyone other than the best of the best

give them a break, it’s THEIR FIRST TIME watching the show. with all the crazy plot twists that kept on coming to them every single episode, of course it’s only imperative for them to think ANYTHING. at the time of season 1’s release, almost nobody could even tell who/what the female titan really was. it took AOT enthusiasts a lot of time to piece out every single scene, sentence, and episode. we can’t exactly expect first time watchers to immediately get it, and not question anything.
They’re new to anime too. Give them a break dude.

Keeping the harpoons in the female titan made it so that she would need to heal around the wounds they created while being trapped. As such the healing of the wounds in essence trapped the harpoons within her body. Deeply e,bedded within the joints, tendons and muscles, thereby limiting her movement. That’s what Hange meant. It’s not super advanced technology so much as it’s just not the unusual tech they employ. Those usually being geared towards eliminating (slicing the necks with blades) or obliterating (cannons). Not necessarily trapping or confining them.
