If you notice the new lights had the same cutout as the factory lights. You need to put the harness for the tail lights in and twist in place to make it weather proof.
Unfortunately not, with a little bit of wiring and soldering, it can be done, but if you are looking for something plug and play then this will not work with the 3 bulb ones only the 2 bulb. Im sure you can just splice the turn signal wire in with the brake wire and make it a 2 bulb system but I'm sure there are some kinks in the system if you go that route.
In terms of size, they will bolt right up. Now when it comes to wiring, If you have two bulb lights then they will work. If you have 3 bulb lights and can find 3 bulb taillights then they will also work. Ford never changed the size of the housings, so as long as you get the bulb count correct, they are plug and play.
They are OEM and came on the car, I just resprayed them because they were faded. If you look of OEM bed rail caps I think you should be able to find them.
I don't think it is from the lights. Have you checked your brake fluid level? Your ABS light could come on if you have low brake fluid; the brakes will also feel soft or spongey if you are low on brake fluid.
@@jeffro5683 They do make in-line resistors that you can wire into your lights. They will limit the current to the lights, but I do not see why this is causing the ABS light to come on. I would HIGHLY recommend that you check your fuse panel in your engine bay. I think a blown fuse is most likely in your situation.
Just installed them on my truck. Definitely a nice upgrade. Only complaint is that when the running lights are on, it doesn’t get much brighter if you hit the brakes. Other than that, it’s an awesome product.

You probably have a separate turn signal. My turn signal is integrated into the brake light.
I have a 03 fx4 and the lights I got fit perfectly. Only problem is the new lights have a spot for 3 bulbs but only have 2 on the truck???
What kind are they? LED or regular bulb?

It is color code LZ, I believe that is Bright Island Blue.

I have a 94 ranger. When I installed my led taillights and cargo light. My ABS light stayed on. Why
I don't think it is from the lights. Have you checked your brake fluid level? Your ABS light could come on if you have low brake fluid; the brakes will also feel soft or spongey if you are low on brake fluid.
It could also be a blown fuse as well.
@@TheMileHighMechanic when I took the LEDs out. The ABS light went out. I was told I don't have enough residence in the LEDs

Nope, I believe they have a built in canbus but don't quote me on that. I have not experienced and hyper flash.
