Can´t wait to see this thing harvesting :)
I was thinking about a similar design, we have the same soil here. Heavy clay with stones, and I was even thinking about a combination of soil sifter and potato harvester.
Very well done! I built one
this year too. This winter I will perfect it a bit. thanks for showing!
Don't have one, but I can send photos... I am going to make modifications this winter. Afterwards I will send to you. Feel free to remind me in January...
great job, well done. may I ask what can we use for that 90 degrees gearbox? greetings form Malta.
Chain ratio looks a little fast, might be a potato pitching machine. Would like to see a demo vid. Nice first effort.
Great work all together
excellent
suggest to keep it in front.
would it work with same power
Very cool made, I like your design. Thank you for sharing your amazing video. God bless you and your family
Great video
Looks great
You could get some chain for a peanut plows and use on there. The links are bigger and will make it easier for you to weld or put whatever you want as bars, they even have tabs w bolt holes on them, and the peanut plows chains are meant for being in the dirt so they will holdup better than a normal chain. Also the peanut plows points you can get and cut to bolt or weld on your digger and will last a good while
U need potato, beet or other digger chain that is wear resistance, I have had no luck with rebar wearing in the dirt
simple and useful!well done guys
Very good. like
I admire your skills.
Nice job
Its so cool
Super
can i get the design part of it?
Must be narrow beds with the machine been so thin?
Is there a way wherein we can use an electric motor instead of gearbox to make it completely independent? Like I want to use it without a tractor or a hand tractor. Is it feasible to use an electric motor?
This is a single row potato digger and it need power so i don't know how you can power it with electric motor, maybe if you use a winch to pull it,that is only that will work, greeting
You are great. God Bess you
Would you export the product to Kenya?
Not bet. Vot is praktik video gop. Laik tu mi.
I would have liked to see it actually harvest potatoes
Can u help plz ...I want information about mounting of rods on chain of conveyor....
You want to know how we put them on chain,i already explain in video,we have cut small pieces of steel that fit on chain joint and welded, and than we weld a rod on both side, that flat piece of steel need to be 5cm or more, you repeat all that on all joints of chain and you have transporter
Automatic thumbs up.
good job. when it was running ever so slowly, you put your hand & fingers so close it gave me butterflies in my stomach. It needs a shield. After all how will you point out all your good work after it snatches your fingers off ???
it just look like i have fingers close to that transporter but i don`t,greetings from Croatia
hello this nice , i am having problems with the transporter ,i dont know how to make it ..please help
i use chain for transporter,i cut small pieces of flat steel and weld on each segment, than between this two chains i weld metal pipe on that flat pieces of steel in lenght i need
Where are you located
Can you provide plans?
Good afeternon, im brasilian, i don't speak english.
You could put you a bar across in between the chains and but you 2 or 3 hard rubber rollers to bounce the chain a little to knock the dirt off of the potatoes, will help also to keep the chain bars from hitting or grabbing each other, your chain is short enough I don't think you will have that problem but the rollers I. Talking about are used in kmc peanut plows. If those bars grab each other it will really mess some stuff up but the chains on those are alot longer and have more sag in them. Very good idea. Looks like you did a very good job on it
Rubber rollers are good idea,it will help to remove dirt, greetings from Croatia
@@Mladen365 idk if the ones they put on the kmc peanut plows we run are too tall to fit inside your chains but we run 3 rollers long, front to back and two rows wide but idk if you have ever seen a peanut plows like I'm talking about, the chains are pretty big and wide also. Good little invention you got there. Very nice.
We want your help
can u make a vid with your home made 4x4 tractor the green one, id like to see it in more detail and a better look at the 4x4 in action? thank you
almost touching that conveyor gives me anxiety
Sir how u made the chain for conveyer
Nothing complicated, this you can't made on small chain you need bigger chain so that you can weld small piece of flat steel on each element on chain, that piece goes between two chain joints on flat surface, that flat piece of steel has to be long enaugh so that you can weld a rebar on top of chain and you this all around the chain and that is all,if you need anything else i am here to help, greeting from Croatia
Could I have the info on how to build one. I would love to have one like this.
Everything is made straight from head,no drawings nothing,i put all that together piece by piece, transporter has to be a little longer, hardest part was to make that transporter
Amazing
Hey sir, I'm an engineering student from East Africa, and I'm challenged to work on this machine as a project. Would you mind me contacting you for further consultations?
this is a excellent machine. I would like to build a similar one. can u please share the fabrication video or design details. thank you
Glad you like it,if you want to make it just make longer transporter, this one is to short, every project i make i don't put on paper,i make everything directly from my mind, hardest part was to make transporter,i have to weld iron bars to that chain
Can u send full drawing to make this machine
This harvester is made without any drawing, transporter is made from steel bars and chain, power from tractor is on gearbox and all the rest is steel frame with digging plate
Potrzebuję go wystarczająco, nie mam dużo ziemi i stworzyłem tę maszynę zgodnie z moimi potrzebami
You better test it in field to show .....
I have, video is on my channel, soil is hard clay so it was hard to get potato out of that soil
How to make
Your machines are getting more and more advanced!
What is your story? Why do you do these things and make these videos?
I live on farm,so it is hard job,i want to make that hard job easy as possible,so i start to make all kind of machines, tools and other projects that can make work on farm very easy, just look my video how we plant potato on old way and than look my video of my two row potato planter, you will see how easy is to plant potato instead of old way, also with my videos i want to show all people that they don't have to buy everything, all that they can make at home and save money, greetings from Croatia
Price
👍
Too skinny.
First try to make one to work than judge,i build it in size that i need for my small farm and it works, greeting
No it is not seen in operation,All we have seen is a machine that you made in motion,What about showing how it lifts the potatoes,????
I have video of working machine on my channel, but digging on that soil was very hard, but it works
This is excellent. For years i've been wanting to buy a little potato harvester but they are so damn expensive so i don't plant potatoes that much. I'm gonna give your design a shot :) You might wanna add a guard to the chain so the dirt doesn't get packed in the chain. Fantastic work, i can't wait to see it in action.
Greetings from Paraguay :)
Thank you,greeting
