I got my little magic 2x2 2 days ago and it's amazing although I haven't used a 2x2 cube in 1½ years.
So for a sub 20 3x3 solver who has never touched a 2x2 is it a good cube?
@@RummanNaser yes because the person you are describing is very like me. I'm a sub 16 3x3 and I hadn't touched a 2x2 for 1-2 years and the last time I did, I used it for like a week and then it broke. Will surely recommend for you. I get great times on this. Even got a .46 with it.

I actually got my package with a QiYi 2x2, 3x3, and Pyraminx! You should've seen my face when I solved that Pyraminx for the first time without help.
Considering I had never touched or even seen one before, my first solve was pretty good. And you also mentioned Cyclone Boys in this video, which reminds me on my old 2x2 and 3x3 I used to main. This was fun to watch. Thank you.

Your content has helped me greatly when learning to speedcube and very soon I might be hitting a pb sub-30 on the 3x3. I love puzzles so much that I can no longer restrain myself so i'm buying a 2x2 and a 4x4.

I spent 25 minutes memorizing the 3x3 for my first blind attempt. I can easily solve 2x2 blind and am now going for the 3x3. I then spent another 10 minutes to make sure I had it all memorized. I mess up on the first algorithm!

I got my first 2x2 by ordering a 3x3 from cancube and they messed up the order so I ended up getting a mastermorphinx, 2x2, and 3x3 for the price of a 3x3, it was very nice of them to throw in the extra mastermorphinx and I was very pleased

I have the QiYi S, on my opinion I actually really like it. Yes the reverse corner cuts are really annoying, but still it’s a good overall cube, if you add lube, it’s fast af. So I would recommended it as a beginner cube, and then after that, you should the. Buy the little magic.

I got the little magic 2x2 and out of the box is it was slow and flimsy.
I added a little bit of fast lube to reduce some of the friction causing the flimsiness and it was amazing.
It did not have that catching problem

MGC 2x2 stickerless is the best cube I've ever had
YJ also has a $7 magnetic 2x2x2 called the YJ YuPo V2 M, and ShengShou has the ShengShou Tank 2x2x2.

I got a magnetic little magic and I think it's got a unique feel to it, I don't know how I feel about it as I have prior experience with 2x2's but it is pretty good.
also, I got a Wuque along with it I am pretty sure its too tight and I am not familiar with 4x4 tensions, my only previous experience is a Shengshou which is really bad, and to me, the Wuque does not perform as good as I expected, yet, so anyone have any tips on how to get started
I've tried the MF2 and the MF2S and I can say that the MF2 is like the MF2S but less sandy and it doesn't lock up like that.
I got the YuXin Little Magic 2x2 approximatly a year ago, and I did not ever get the lock ups you are talking about. However, it does not cornercut 45° but makes it a little less eithout too much problems. Making it looser could make it corner cut more, but it would become way too losse for my taste.
Overall really solid cube. Super fast. But the corner cutting isn't impressive. Sometimes it'll fly off my hands because I tried to corner cut too much.
You can put magnets inside. There are already marked spots for 4x1 or 4x2 magnets.
I have a cyclone cube without the ridges and its worked very well for me and i use it nearly daily
my first cube was the crappy shengshou, my second is the qiyi thunderclap and yuxin little magic(ordered it at the same time, and my friend also broke my lil magic) then my third cube is power m

i have the yj yupo and its amazing for only being like 7 bucks its magnetic, its fast but not too fast to the point of it being uncontrollable and if you add lube the corner cuts are amazing

The QiDi was my first 2x2 and although it does indeed still catch on these spots a bit you can get it to drive really well after some lube and screwdriver treatment

I have a Rubik's Brand 2x2 and it doesn't corner cut the best but it can do a U5 flick and surprisingly turns well. Also, its the spinmaster model.

I own the QiYi QiDi S 2x2, I bought it with premium Cubicle lube service and it was DANG fast. It’s got to be the fastest 2x2 I’ve ever felt. It all comes down to opinion of course since I only know beginners 2x2 method not Ortega, so I think it varies with how you use a 2x2 for how it will perform.
I was using a shengahou legend as my main,just got a mgc elite 2x2 and went from sub 13 to sub 6

Do you think Mr. M will be good if it's magnetic? (I got the ShengShou Mr. M Magnetic 2x2, MoFang JiaoShi MeiLong 5x5, and YuXin Black Kirin 4x4. They were cheaper than the rest, but I thought that it's worth $1 to add magnets to my 2x2 it's $1 more expensive than the cheapest, but thank goodness for discount codes! It basically covered the cost for $1)

i got a shengshou mr. m , and i had the same issue. The cube comes super loose, and because of that it takes forever to tension. All in all though, it is a really good cube and is currently my main

Why would you put in the Mr.M when if you pay 1 more dollar, you could get the mgc 2x2, which some people say it is the best 2x2 on the market. But I dont know about the Valk2M
The Valk 2 is more premium and will do better in higher levels of competition but if you're trying to get sub-4 the MGC will do fine.
