never heard of Fesley before! i think they definitely have potential in the industry, the specs and looks of their kits are so nice! that high hat stand was something i didnt expect at all.
The Hi Hat caught me off guard! I can’t wait to spend a bit more time with it to really explore it.
Quick note: The frame tubes actually lock in place. if you loosen the nut, then twist the frame tube, youll feel them fall into place. This way, you dont have to really crank the bolt that much. Cheers! Im almost done setting mine up but idk how to get the module properly orientated lol
That’s my complaint… the module placement is bad. I just did another full review and that was my biggest complaint
Thank u for doing what u do for the edrum community! Happy holidays man!
You’re welcome
Very informative. Looking forward to the unbox video.
Have a very happy holiday season to you & yours, my friend!!!🙏🏼👍🏼
Thanks same to you as well
Thanks for the video, it has been a great help to us!😃
It’s a nice kit! I hope people click the order links.
I put one of those wrist weights on the bottom of the hi-hat stand and it doesn't walk away. Some Velcro on the feet helps since I play on carpet too.
This was such a great review. This caught my eye as a good option for me to start out on. I'm debating between this, the Alesis Surge Mesh, and the Simmons Titan 50. Any chance at a Head to Head to Head of those three sets?
I don’t have the surge but check my videos I have more in depth videos on the t50. The one thing I’d consider is that there is a difference in how Alesis and Simmons handle the dual zone snare verses the Fesley and Donner.
This video was HUGE. Thanks so much for the information. I just returned my Donner ded-200 and was going to get the DED 200- max. This saves me some money. Thanks a Bunch. 👊🏾👊🏾
They’re almost the identical drum. The dual zone snare reacts the same.
Hey Keithron love your channel ! Out of all the beginner electronic drum kits which one is your favorite ???
Beginner? 🤔 that depends on your budget. At the $350 mark I’d wanna say an Alesis but… SIMMONS makes the Titan 20. The thing I hate about the T20 is why it’s better than the Alesis to me. The pedal will force a beginner to learn and develop their muscle. The sounds of the T20 are better IMO.
Are you able to get good action out of the high hat? Like say you just very quickly open it just slightly instead of all the way open. And thanks for all the info man. I’m a brand new subscriber.
I’m working on a video that will cover that.
Is the hi hat pedal three zoned? (like open, half-open, closed) or is it just open and close? Thanks!
Hi our hi hat pedal is just open and close!
Fesley on the site! Thats awesome
Will you try the hihat with the titan 70 i would like to put a hihat stand on my titan just want to know if it will function on my module thanks good info as always you sold me on my set
Same. Hit hat pedal just doesnt work so good for me on the Titan 70. Everything else is great.
Yeah… that’s the plan. I mentioned in the video that I wanna test it on other sets. The plan is Titan 50,70 and SD1250.
@@fledsilveira5918 Same. It's definitely the weak link in that kit.
@@HarakiriRock It is so bad that even doing exactly the same hit hat movement 10 times in a row, half of them wont register or it will register with a different cymbal position of what actually should be.
@@fledsilveira5918 Sounds similar to mine. I have a weird issue where edge hits barely register and the right side triggers better than the center. It doesn't seem to recognize dynamics much at all. Also in EZDrummer the fully closed hi hat sometimes triggers a random cymbal and I have no idea why. That might be the softwares fault though.
Hey guys, I got an offer of a brand new Roland td-25 for 270$. Is it better than the Alesis nitro max?
🤷🏽♂️ I’ve not played the Roland so I don’t have an opinion.
would you say this is better than the Alesis Nitro Max?
No… not at all
Can you turn the kit Lefty?
Yes
I don’t think it’s better than the Simmons 50 but better than the Alesis line
😳Now…. I’m not ready to say that. In my limited time with it I wouldn’t go that far. It has some flaws but it’s still not bad.
7 seconds into the video and I already heard side stick triggering for what should have been a rim shot. This is basic triggering an electronic kit has to get right…
Yeah… you saw me trying to adjust the snare because of how they did things.
