I’m digging on the CL500. Sweet placement of the Old school looking exhaust, and wider longer café looking seat as well as the fender( if only the color matched the tank,hand guards too). I’d put a side board rack + two small travel cases on her and have no problem going down south from San Diego for a few days surf trip. Thanks brother for going over the entire line🤙🏼 Mahalo

I'm excited for the CL500 but can't find anything on release date for the US.
Wait, the CB750 weighs 418lbs but the CL500 comes in at 421 lbs? I wonder what they are smokin'? That 469 lb 145hp CBR1000 is sweet!

Sport bikes are usually lighter. And more expensive.
Apart from the adventure and tourer bikes, there isn't a single bike there with a comfortable seat. Honda are using thin hard seats with little padding and you need to get off regularly to rest.
I’m old enough to remember getting my leg burnt ( and all of my friends legs too) as we where just kids learning to ride off road back in the 70s by the upswept exhaust systems of the day. Looks like a whole new generation is gonna learn to hate that design as well. Especially the girls we gave rides who wore them dolphin shorts. Bet they still have that scare on there inner thighs.
Does anyone know when or if they are going to release the transalpi to the US market?
THE CB 500X has a 17.5 l tank. to the moon and back and the rebel 1100 which has double the engine size and is a cruiser only has 13.63 l. good job honda. that being said i would love any of these, so... if any rich pp in the comments don't know what to do with their money i would advise to invest in my happiness otherwise i might channel my bitterness towards their happiness
They should of designated it SL 500 it looks more like the SL 350 of the early 70s.

top notch designing ,i ride a 700 ctx dct .if honda could somehow combine the ctx700 with the nc700 keep the storage trunk up front and make it a solo seat bobber for me ,,perfection
Hey I got the 700 dct also the one thing I don’t like is the smal gas tank other than that storage but I installed a couple leather sattlenahs and I am ok small ones but they help👍🏍

Great video Honda has a great lineup this year but please does anyone know if they’re going to even release the trans out to the US market? I haven’t been able to find any answers through the dealers. Also the ATV 350 is that going to be released as well?

It is ridiculous how mountain bikes are more expensive than some of these motorcycles.

McDonald's should sell Big Macs using MSRP they'd make a killing. At least they make the hamburger not have them delivered then say, We had to set them up." Lowes and HomeDepot get fully assembled lawnmowers delivered, car dealerships have fully assembled cars delivered but motorcycle dealerships have to open and create, put a little gas and oil in so they charge over $1000.00. If people could buy bikes directly from the manufacturer they'd save a lot of money and more new bikes would be bought. You could a Hawk 250 just with the money a dealership rips you off of on a motorcycle with a $6000.00 MSRP. Hawk motorcycles or similar is the only bikes dealers need toilet up."
Just remember to add at least $2000 to the MSRP for dealer markup.
_~I would love to buy another Honda but after they denied a known recall that was approved by the Honda service manager and kept my bike sitting in service for 5 months I will never buy Honda and give them my money! I guess that's how they try to keep their track record clean by denying problems. I almost lost my life that night on the busy freeway when the wiring harness shorted under the fuel tank and started to catch fire.~_

I’m patiently waiting for the return of the CT 70 ie: Dax 125 here in America with folding handle bars, center stand, aluminum where possible to reduce weight so I can shut off the gas, fold it up and load it in the car and take it with me like in the olden days!

The CB1100EX didn't sell well. It's gone forever. People want ugly bikes, so Honda gives them that.

I always see cool bikes and get excited but then realize they're not released in the US. We get the Grom instead of the CBr125. Pssh.
The NT1100 is not available in the US from the dealers in the state I live have no intention of have them as there is no market for them the age group only want the crouch rockets that are fast and do wheelies. The olde tour group want gold wing or such. The market for the NT 1100 is eu.
@@danielpearson4972 Grom sales are through the roof though and its a 125. If this one was available I think it'd do better because it has double the HP and Torque that the Grom does. I think this one would do well.
The high muffler.. but low header on the cl500 is such a bummer.
I like the cl500 but why are the 3 panels (tank, front and rear fenders) all different colors and finishes? Looks like they forgot to paint at least one of them!

Why is the tank chopped off? Same on the rebel! Am i the only one who isn’t the fan of that. Other than that the bike looks fine. Honda needs more creative designs. They nailed the cb1000r with design. Keep doing that for other models.. also the cb750 needs a modern cafe body. The hornet is a bit too modern

for years honda seat height is to high for alot of riders they have missed out on alot of sales for this very reason ,they make a great bike got to get seat height lower.

I really don't understand the underswept exhaust on the Transalp and Africa Twin.
It's the same on all the others I miss the high level exhaust we used to get on an adventure bike. Now all they do is angle the muffler up.
It's for ground clearance when going between rock and such, and deep water.
Nobody is going with his Transalp through a river. You only see that in advertisements.
@@florislok It just leaves the exhaust more vulnerable to serious impacts, even on mild forest roads and such that aren't really all that bad, but can have unexpected ruts, downed limbs, a big rock here or there, and other road debris or obstacles that can catch you off guard. I rode the entire TransAm Trail, and I can tell you there will be lots of places you would be better off if your exhaust ran somewhere besides underneath the bike.
That’s why God invented the aftermarket.
How much Pillion Seats are comfortable in these Motorcycles is a Moot Question.
The one at 7:22 is CB650R, not CBR650R

omg it's all a bit same old. nothing stands out as exciting or revolutionary or cool, which i'm sure is just a reflection on the market as opposed to their design. You can tell its a company heavily invested in ICE and cross-platform cost cutting, but at least the motorcycle division still exists!
