An emotional day as Newcastle hammer another side to finish the season off in style

- Newcastle United Women rounded off their title-winning season in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division with an emphatic 4-0 win away to West Bromwich Albion Women.
United were left frustrated in the first half and went into the break level on terms, but they came out for the restart firing and made sure of all three points with goals from Tyler Dodds, Kacie Elson, Sharna Wilkinson and a late Anna Soulsby penalty. The Lasses were ruthless in the second half and could have scored even more if it wasn’t for an inspired Anna Miller performance in the Albion goal.

Our first lasses game didn't disappoint. Great day out.
The dates for our campaign in the championship, and cannot wait. Hopefully more games will be played at our cathedral (reckon the sunderland derby will be).
The Barclays Women’s Championship meanwhile will begin a fortnight earlier across 7-8 September 2024, concluding over 3-4 May 2025.
The winter break will also run from 16 December through to 18 January for both divisions.
The championship is in for a shock. Howay the lasses!

Love the content great dedication, great game especially second half so nice to see all our young players who had to stay patient show in very limited time that they are very talented and can make quality impact the future is bright and BLACK AND WHITE great team goal for the 3rd vision , pace, movement, one touch and finish. the passion and what it means to them to be TRUE nufc player and supporter was written all over SHARNA and ANNA'S faces at the end of the game ❤❤
