I remember hearing this song when you played Concord CA back in ‘93. I didn’t remember the song at the time and went digging through all my Duran Duran cds until I found the song on Liberty.
Metaphorically speaking, The Liberty album is a first impression where the writing took a sharp left turn towards artistic integrity. The 90s decade. With Liberty the band began showing a level of artistic adventurism that continued in the 90s. Duran never had that before, never achieved post Cuccurullo and in all likelyhood will never achieve again. What they are today, Is that good enough for you? Sorry folks it began and ended with Cuccurullo.
