As the Manipur government declines to give permission to commence Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ from Imphal, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Keisham Meghachandra on January 10 said that Congress would do their Yatra near Khongjom War Memorial Complex.
“Even if the government declines (the permission), we have decided to do this near the Khongjom War Memorial Complex, Thoubal at a private lane. We are discussing with the AICC team,” said Keisham Meghachandra.
Notably, Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ will commence from Imphal on January 14 and cover a distance of 6,713 km, going through 100 Lok Sabha constituencies and 337 Assembly segments and covering 110 districts. The march will culminate in Mumbai on March 20 or 21.
