It is so easy to focus on the leads in their songs, because they are so fantastic, but the background arrangements are always so unique. They, and Ben are masters of arrangement. I think I made those same faces the first time I heard it.😳🤪
Their ability to take two totally different songs and mash them up so seamlessly can't be matched by anyone. We often refer to this as the 'switch up' with Scott's falsetto and then Mitch's lower register (at first). It's a great mix. If you listen to La La (first song) and Latch (second song) separately, you can't imagine them fitting together but ... hey, like you said, with PTX anything is possible.

They won the 3rd season of the "Sing Off" and acapella competition. They performed 12 songs...all great, but the ones you should react to are "Born to Ride" (#7); "Let's Get It On" (#10); and "Dog Days are Gone" (#12)...the rest are all good, but these are the best (IMO)
You need to watch Joyful Joyful live evergreen You will be blown away by Matt at the end. Make sure to watch the one with 10,000. views other cut Matt off. Love your reactions.

Seriously, you need to check out the beginning of PTX. The sing off season 3. Include the judges comments. Also include all of the post season 3 appearances. Then watch the opening songs from season 3.
Typically it irks me if I can't make out the lyrics in a song but the way they sing this mashup I don't even try to listen to the lyrics half the time. I just enjoy Scott's soothing vocals & all the melodic sounds from everyone else like it's an instrumental.
