Clint, you're the quintessential customer service guy - not many like that "old school" happy customers will keep building your long term business any more. You & your family values are why I keep watching. Good stuff my man! Always brings a grin.😁
Nothing like Experience to troubleshoot and repair as quick as possible! Outstandingly Stellar!
Great video! It sure was nice for the JD engineers to put that ac drain right there, who would ever think that condensation next to a $4500 control unit could
be an issue? 🙄
I think Kevin’s re-routing of that condensation hose was the cornerstone of this video. Clint you did ok too 😂😂
I’m not a mechanic, however it seems I’d a person would put some spacers under that unit to elevate it off of the mounting surface?! Just a thought
Put some spacers under it to keep it up out of the water.
It’s amazing how much you understand everything you guys work on. Blessings all the way🙏❤️👍🥳
Clint, you’re the man! I’m impressed with just how much knowledge about these dozers that you have acquired from your years of experience. Actually I love these types of videos where you troubleshoot by going through these different processes.
think i would have put a washer or 2 under that trans control just to keep it up off the metal that way if there was water it couldnt get in.. cool vid!!
I was just about to say the same thing but then saw others beat me to the punch.
Probably too late now.
Like these kind of videos, like your patience
Everything nowadays is unecessarily complicated.
DAMN!!!!!!!! You’re good 👍🏼
When I worked in telecommunications, I had an entire “library” of installation and service manuals in my service van. They were a lifesaver, even after I’d been through the factory school.
I’m waiting to see if you get into the tiltrotator business. I’ve seen more and more (especially the NOX brand 🤷♂️) on CZcams recently and I think they’re cool as heck and appear to be a huge time saver for the O/O.
Very patriotic cap Clint! You're the real deal all the way around!
Awesome! Your repair was thorough. You walk us through everything. Thank you for sharing this 😊
Another great video. Thanks
Kevin couldn’t get the shop vac on where the controller sits?
Rice is just a folklore! The dust and starch will get into the control board and cause more damage down the line if you stick it in the rice
You are one genius clint😊😊
When I first saw the title I had a feeling it was AC condensation. Luckily it didn't let all of the magic smoke out.
Great job 👍
You're absolutely right you need a book and understanding to go through those machines I love the technical part of it and showing us how to do it
Clinton another great video! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Also Clint folks can look at their local library for books or with ours out here they have more on line! A great resource that most folks don't think to use!
I think I would have put some spacers under that so that water couldn't get in it
Well he did fix the drain so it won’t leak into it anymore. However, I thought the same thing. Maybe he did it and just didn’t show it.
Really enjoyed this video ! Thanks😊👍👍
Thank you for sharing, another great video 👍👍👍👍👍
And this is why the C & C Equipment Team is simply one of the best in the industry!!!
Man this weather here in Indiana is beautiful isn't it!!! Thats crazy the AC drain did that never seen that before!! Have a awesome week Mr. C and Mrs. C and crew. Thanks for keeping my tools nice lmbo!! 😁😜❤️
Electronics - ya gotta keep the smoke inside the box and the water outside the box.
Wow you build some fast moving dozers 🤣
This a classic example of quality business person standing behind the products that they sell. It was expensive but knowing how to do a service solution to a problem makes getting the machine back in service.
Put one inch bushes under each corner up out of water 😊😊
The struggle is real my friend
I want that tow truck - it’s so cool !!! I have a small budget problem 😂
Great video
Love this channel. I watch them start to finish and I really appreciate you making them.
Question, did you ever work a job as an operator ?
Or just run equipment around the shop?
The guy just before me beat me to it....I'd shim it up at least a 1/4" just to be on the safe side
Great video Clint. Troubleshooting is almost a lost art these days.
That HET wrecker is a beast. I don't know why some of these foresters insist on skidding with a dozer. I'll stick with a CAT or JD cable skidder any day. Leave the dozers to building decks and forwarding areas for trucks and skidders to access.
Great video, never a dull day at the shop, that A.C. leak was a new one to cause a transmission fault. All the best from the U.K.
Not only are you a mechanic you are a hell of a operator thanks
Clint, great work and super explanations! Thanks for your excellent video and description of the analysis/repairs. I always enjoy your explanations and thoughtfulness for your customers. See you in Louisville! Be well, be safe!
It's a good thing Officer Hoover doesn't see you driving with a book on the dashboard.
Lift that control box with washers so that it will be above the water.
Its hard to comment when everyone else beats me to it on the great job and love the videos. Just a bunch of great info!! Thanks for your hard work on making these, I know it has to be time consuming as I hope it gratifying for you also.
I like all of your videos. In each video you share your knowledge whether it be turning wrenches, fabricating and everything in between. So there ya go.
That calibration procedure reminds me of when i worked on F-14 tomcats.
Now that is a Wrecker !
Clint,
I like this video but was really looking forward to liking another video with Hunter's truck.
Gosh dang that JerrDan is slick!!
Great video, very informative....
Another outstanding episode! thanks Clint!
Could you have also maybe sealed around that back window again with some silicone caulking also. Every little bit of protection helps.
Loved that video that was real old school diagnostic keep them coming 👍
Great diagnostics great job great video thanks Clint
Awesome video, and thanks for sharing.
Great video again, I just love everything about heavy plant and stuff like this . Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Clint, another great video. Always interesting, informative, educational and entertaining. Keep em coming sir.
Another really neat video…. Love this channel.
Great video, Always appreciate the knowledge you have about working on this machinery.
Yes set-up is real pain but this is way today.i glad you expose the real world today equipment.people cries when dealer show up in field well clint you expose true.thank video.😊
Good job
Looking forward to see your son’s truck project in the future 👍
Looks like Ritchie Bros. have a sale coming up on Exit 97 of I-75 near Richmond Ky.
Thanks for the class room time.
Thanks Clint 👍🍺
Code books area must have for all owners of electronic control equipment.
Spacers for sure.
I can see how fast a can of worms can start!! Did the old computer get trashed, spare, or back to customer? Good job Clint!!👍🇺🇸
I remember you said the speed sensor was adjustable. I wonder if it needs to be closer at lower idle. To detect the lower idle voltage? I know the throttle position sensor on my old Jeep was like basically a reiastat like a dimmer switch that would develop pitted spots when they went bad. My car had a miss at cruise control speed and idle.
Great video Clinton keep them coming please
Thanks very interesting and informative
Love the tech stuff ❤
AMEN on the book you will learn something that you didn't know....One my best customers when he bought a machine he wanted service and parts manuals ...I'm like you I prefer paper books over cds ... I"ve got a good library always adding on
Your so smart just like me lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 good job Clint.
as all way so impressed with your knowledge Clint thanks for sharing keep up the great content bub
Mr Clinton, your coverage of JD dozers has convinced me if I ever look for a good old used dozer, it'll be JD. I especially appreciate how "simple" this model is. 👍
i always enjoy when you do calibrations and work on computer stuff 👏👏👏👏👏👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍
Very good job!
You should put risers up keep an inch off of that
A bit of water and the computer dies - well just about every time. Calibration process is interesting and necessary task - good to see an expert explain it precisely.
As I said before, filming and using that utility truck is the best marketing tool you’ll have 👍👏👊
I love the way you explain what you are doing and about the equipment manuals.
Never knew that tractor/dozer systems were so sophisticated. Thanks Clint
Very well done!
Amazing knowledge. Thanks.
Computers and anything don't get along as sit hear typing into mine.
Hey Y'all
Realizing I'm sitting in my arm chair quarterbacks position, if it leaks just from a little condensation off the A/C system.
What's going to stop it from leaking from rain, and then come winter time, snow and ice melting off the cab when they fire up the heater, or just rise of ambient temperature.
Other than sealing the glass, if it were me, and it's not, but I believe I'd add additional rubber isolation feet under it in order to raise it up as high as the connections will allow, and use Teflon tape to the mounting hardware to eliminate any chance of water running in on top of electrical components below in the battery box.
Just a couple off the top of my head thoughts that comes from my current position of couple weeks after the fact.
Well I'm sure glad Hoghead didn't lose his balance there, and ruin the new concrete addition.
LOL, sure glad I'm thousand plus miles away, cause I pick on the poor little fella enough he might eventually get upset with me.
All in good fun, and don't tell him, but the more I tease someone usually means I think they're good people.
That said, that doesn't mean that you aren't, but he's just so convenient being a little fella with easy going manner.
Have a Great Day, and may Tomorrow be even Better
Love these videos Clint and the auction videos.
Always enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing them
Good work 👏
Put plenty of dielectric grease on those connectors .
Thanks for sharing
Very , very interesting video...the old machines didnt have computers lol...Stay safe you all
As always, another job well done
1995 chevy 2500 shop truck a tiny crack in a wire and night time headlights stopped working this was in Las Vegas desert dry
Great video. Need some small cat dozer action the G series
I like these kind of videos too. I always learn something
Great job
Don't half make it easy when you know what your looking for makes it so much easier
