People sleep on Oblivion in general but some of the soundtrack (and other implementations) are honestly great. Chief amongst the soundtracks is Auriel's Ascension, imo.

They remastered Skyrim because they upgraded the engine for newer systems from developing Fallout 4, and it was convenient for them to make a remastered Skyrim. Lol that's pretty much the only reason, that and I guess it was pretty much free money for them. Oblivion would take a lot more work.

I played like 1000 hours of Oblivion on my PS3 and CRT TV back in the day. It blew my mind the first time I played it on PC with ultra graphics. I found so much new stuff in the tutorial dungeon because it had been blurred in with the dirt before.
If you can call that minimal visual upgrade without bugfixes a "remaster". It's a scam and I'm glad they didn't try to ruin Oblivion or Morrowind with a similar treatment.

Hey Lobos. You should try out Enderal when you get a chance. It's a total conversion mod for Skyrim. Think of it like a new game using Skyrim's engine. New world, quests, story, characters. It even has professional voice acting and original music. It's still a bit buggy because it's only created by a small team, but it's outstanding.
Here to vouch. I never downloaded a conversion mod before because the quality is usually immersion breaking. But, holy shit is the voice acting and audio quality in Enderal outstanding. Totally sounds like professional voice actors, and edited seamlessly. Lots of talking and lore, which I love. Definitely recommend.
Don't know if you figured out yourself (I'm still watching the video), but all those crashes around the ~2:33:00 mark, is a bug in Oblivion Reloaded that crashes the game when durability reaches zero.

Stamina isnt to huge in this game, you can just keep swinging.... until you meet an enemy with a stamina drain attack. Then you just collapse from exhaustion
It doesn't stop you from swinging, but swinging without fatigue severely reduces your damage output and a good offense is often the best defense. Having your warrior do some basic alchemy to make dozens of restore fatigue potions is actually really, really effective.

Morrowind is still the best TES game but Oblivion sure is the runner up. I'm playing through Morrowind right now with the crazy crazy graphical overhaul they came out with. It's such a difficult game to, way more difficult than the later TES games. If you would like to play it with the overhaul Lobos then just download this (not a virus I promise you) and don't install the game obviously if you want to support the developers but read the instructions and it's a mod package and it's all automated so it does it for you. I'm torn. On the one hand I love Morrowind's setting, it's so much more unique and alien. Oblivion gave us some of that with the Shivering Isles addon (which is pound for pound the best Elder Scrolls, imo), but all of Morrowind was like that. Need the graphics mod to remove the fog though, I can't go back to that. On the other hand, a lot of the NPC dialogue in Morrowind was stiff and repetitive. Unless there was a specific quest associated with an NPC you would get the same lines over and over. For all the shit Oblivion gets for its small cast of voice actors, the NPCs feel a lot more alive for being voiced, and Morrowind really didn't take advantage of the fact that it was text only and you can have as much writing and dialogue as you want. Like, hire some fucking writers, come on now, it shouldn't be just as limited and repetitive as a fully voiced game, give me some flavor text. I do also find the combat in Morrowind really hard to go back to and many of the systems to be unnecessarily tedious and harsh. It's the "harder" game, for sure, but not in a good way, imo. Overall I have to give it to Oblivion. It struck the right balance of complexity and convenience. You could do crazy, awesome shit with custom spellmaking like launch yourself into the stratosphere, you could totally gimp yourself and wind up getting killed horribly by everything, but also there's fast travel, and skills have been condensed somewhat, and combat is no longer dice roll based. But goddamn if Morrowind's world isn't super compelling. Oblivion > Morrowind > Skyrim > Daggerfall. Imo.
if you want to be a good warrior, you might as well not waste your levels on sneak skill... You have to think about what you'd rather be, level 10 warrior with 30 sneak and 30 blade skill, or a level 10 warrior with 50 blade and 10 sneak skill.

Reality Vanguard if its not a major skill he wont level up from leveling sneak....youve been playing too much skyrim
