Your motorized bicycle is very nice and I like the Jack shaft shifting system, I live in Mexico and I also have a motorized bicycle that I made myself in round 29 and I also made Jack Shaft which I like because it runs a lot and sounds like a motorcycle, I have reached speeds of up to 55 miles per hour and all the people stare at me when I pass
Word to the wise. Jetting where you have driveways every 10ft, it's not an if, it is just a when, someone or something sails right out in front of you. Great build very cool, stay safe Cheers
I know you are right buddy. I do usually stick to the speed limits if that helps. And I often wonder what's the difference between a motorized bicycle and a standatd motorcycle. I ride motorcycles on the roads. The bicycle makes just as much noise and stops just as quickly. There is risk with both motorcycle bicycle and motorcycle. Even a standard bicycle without a motor is dangerous on the roads, especially here in South Africa where there are no bike lanes and other drivers are more dangerous here.
Back 2k a 1970s Thunderbird ran a yielding green and pulls out un front of my right away green light, not seeing her before hand just on my turning green i blew through the stop traffic red light hitting her at 50 from 70ish but heres issue both front shocks blown back tire still had screw in its hole and i slid down on a slide to seconds controlling bike enough to hit tire to tire fronts on impact it launched me straight up and over her cars hood by 10 feet landing on Sonic Burger sidewalk on all fours like a cat limping for Edit2 weeks 😂 i thought it was my last ride on my 1990 650 nighthawk and it was too!
You did a damn good job on the installation. the looking on I've seen yet. I see you understand how you most avoid potholes and all that stuff, because it would hard on the tires and frame. One of things I do is use my knees like shock absorbers to lessen the impact on the tires and bike frame. But yeah, good job man

damn man! your bike looks good! where can i find some parts for my bike so it looks cool too?, I'm from Mexico and its almost imposible to find parts for motorized bikes here and I'm not good neither finding them on the internet, also i want to change some things to make it more powerful, also put a suspension but i can't find any, do you have any suggestions for were i can find good parts?
Man, aren't you afraid of reaching such speeds on a bicycle? I'd shit my pants if were you. Sincere admirations to your work and build on the bike. Doesn't the derailer get worn off quickly because of the chain speed and of course the chain itself?
Hi bud. It's actually extremely stable at high speed due to the high end frame, wide ebike tires and rims. The frame cost about 1800 USD and the tires are made for high speed applications and make a huge difference. The chain is also made for ebikes so much stronger than the usual bicycle chains. Derailleur is high end not showing any wear. Cassette is high end sram steel.
@@MotorizedBicycle1 So If I understand correctly not only you had to work on adding the 2-stroke motor to the bike, but you actually assembled the bike from different parts?
@vinylmaster1991 yes that's correct. I purchased a second hand Ritchey P29er, completely disassembled it, sold what I wasn't going to use and then bought specific high end parts to suit. And bicycle parts are not cheap. The bicycle alone without motor parts is valued at around 4500 usd.
@@MotorizedBicycle1 Wow, that makes my bike with the Bafang BBSHD electric mid-drive motor look like cheap unreliable build compared to yours. Though it hasn't given my any issues so far and I've made around 1000 km with it. The only thing I had to change was the chain cause I snapped it on a hill, I pushed too hard on it. It's interesting how many km can you go with a full tank. Anyway, I really like your bike, I hope I will be able to make a similar one day :) Keep riding and be safe. Cheers!
Great setup. It’s really a tricky thing to get the whole system running smoothly and reliably like that. I had a shift kit on a bike for about a month and then gave up on it. I still wonder every now and then if I had taken the time to get it right, how long the derailer/cassette would last. Anyhow, really you’ve got a nice little bike there bro.
Why dont you give it a go again? A sram steel cassette and kmc ebike chain is very strong and a derailleur wouldn't take any more wear than usual. A Shimano XT or SLX derailleur with the clutch/damper system in it is working perfectly for me. The derailleur isn't under any extra stresses if it's set correctly and changes smoothly. I can jump 3 gears at a time. I just close the throttle, pull the clutch in and change gears, like a motorcycle. I don't actually need to but i just do it anyway. If I was full throttle and changing gears aggressively maybe it would be a different story. Logically something would break like that. Chains never jump off because every is set correctly and perfectly aligned and tensioned. Also have to use high quality chains. Like buy the strongest rated chain you can find. Industrial for primary drive and go for strength and not light weight on Shimano/kmc single speed and final drive. Remember high end bicycle chains are thinner materials, light weight. So be aware of that. Look for the heavy duty stuff rarther than weight savings.
I bought them on aliexpress. The rear is custom made buy mixing two types of fenders and fastening them together with an aluminium flat bar. I will try make video's in future which give more detail.
quick question i was wondering what bike that is because i’ve been looking for the nice bike that has everything nice suspension nice all around tires and things that are nice and new
No i haven't. I really dont think i need more power as its fast enough for a bicycle already. Higher octane fuel would need a higher compression ratio and an advanced ignition timing in order to start seeing performance increases. Just running higher octane fuel wont do anything good, higher octane fuel actually burns slower than regular fuel.
@@MotorizedBicycle1 o well I want top of the line and I don't have the time or ability to build one I have a 3d model I made of the full bike I want to build iv had this bike in my head for years.

Yes does. Its a jackshaft.
No it's using a jackshaft kit so it uses the right side gears that come on mountain bike rims
