Now that I’ve seen Cayla karaoke - I’m thinking they would have rocked the song and dance in Scotland. But of course they kicked ass at theirs barrels. I’m so proud of them. Dang, it was close.
My favorite thing about these ladies was just how much fun they had throughout the race. Always laughing, always very good natured and even in times of stress (like losing the map) they still communicated effectively with each other and succeeded. I know that technically speaking they didn’t win the race BUT it truly wasn’t a loss for lack of any kind of skill. It wasn’t navigation issues, strength issues, etc. It came down to finding the right combo of images and it sounds like they were stuck on two just like Kim and Penn were a little stuck on the coin and the truck or boat so I really think it was just a matter of who got the correct combo first. They were consistently a strong team the whole way through just like Kim and Penn! 2nd place is nothing to be sad about in this case when it was sooooo close!
Congratulations Cayla and Raquel! I started the season as a fan of the Holdernesses but became a fan of you two too! I was almost rooting for Team Purple more than Team Teal. You may not have gotten first place but hopefully it is some comfort that you kicked Team Rusty’s ass! 💜

This team is great. I wonder how the season would have turned out if they actually had to buy plane tickets etc. if their occupation will come in handy
