I have had the blessing to keep labradors for over thirty years, l have had all the colours,they are all beautiful in their own way,but my experience is that chocolates although mad as hell when young, are the most loving and sensitive of all, now on my second choc , hopefully god will give me enough time for a third. After having labs for so long,l have told my wife, l will never live a day without one.incidently they have all been rescues,this is not to big myself up, but please consider this option if serious about getting one, they actually know what you have done for them,which in itself is your reward, trust me!

Kobe is stressed by the noise and weight of the toddler. It might look sweet, but it’s one sided fun. Luckily, Labradors are patient but I would not feel that this is a safe situation.
Love these two. Robert gets so close to Kobe & waits to see what Kobe will do. I think he wants him to lick his ear, or rub against his head with his cold nose. After Robert crawls back & forth a few times he touches Kobe’s nose so gently as if to say “I really love you buddy” The look on Kobe was priceless. These two share such a wonderful bond it brings a smile on my face. Love watching them everyday.❤

I had a yellow lab when my boys were toddlers. He was so patient and protective of them. They would hold his ears when they were learning to walk and he'd even allow them to crawl on him. When he died it was the last time I cried and that was nearly 20 years ago this August. I've lost several family members and never felt as sad as when he died. Dogs are just so sweet and seem to only want us to be happy.
