    I love that you had the kids helping out, they learned a lot from you that day and probably every day. I spent my youth in the garage handing my father tools, and I still use that knowledge. Most people are surprised that I do as many things around the house as I do.

    Thank you for this video! I have a lot of sloping in my backyard and you helped me figure out how to work with it, instead of trying to dig 5 tons of dirt to make it level.

    Not only I learned something, but your video is just delightful to watch! Great to see you've involved your lovely kids into the project. My experience told me that I can get the job done faster without keeping an eye on the kids, but what better than sharing the sense of accomplishment with the little ones when and after the job is done!

    Great video, Tyler. Been planning out a 240sq.ft. paver patio off of our deck and after watching a lot of DIY videos, settled on your's as my model. Laid out a quick pattern on my prepped base and the wife loved it...and the cute helpers! Like the curved paver flower bed borders also.

    Great info! We are having our deck rebuilt right now, and it's going to drop down to a paver patio. I had a pretty good idea of the process already but this was great to see in action and just confirm that it is something I can handle myself! Keep up the good work!

    I normally mix 1:1 ratio of cement and sand and then sweep that over the pave stones. Once it has reached its limit I spray a fine mist of water over the stones and the cement hardens and the stones are locked in

I’ve seen hundreds of videos on how make a paved patio your self but they’re all intimidating and confusing, but you with the kids and detail by detail explanation without all the mambo jombo!!!     Aside from digging for the drain pipe, I really appreciate you not using a bunch of machinery most basic DIY home owners don't have. I'm a female in my 50's and don't have a truck or an extra set of little arms to help. Bit by bit I've picked up the supplies needed to add a 4ft x 8ft paver area to a small existing concrete pad. I'm actually using paver base panels to eliminate some of the labor but I just needed reassurance on the hand tampering process. Thank you!
