When I first started playing, I was a big fan of Ranger. But as time has gone by I've switched to in sync....but after watching this video I'm going to go back to the lab and test it out because I am a beamer from mid to long range with my assault rifle build. Can't wait to get home and test it out. You just opened my eyes
I liked your video and attempted at your build, i liked it but I moved some stuff around and got the following stats, its not for everyone but i thought i share with you. Grupo mask - Prov BP-the gift -fenris chest w/obliterate-improv holster-prov knees (3-piecebonus). Stats-Weapon Damage 124k CHC 60% Crit Hit Dam 209.5 Headshot damage 110% health damage 21% using eaglebearer.
I run grupo sombra holster instead of ceska since your weapon will have the Crit Hit Chance that will get you to 60% CHC. I use the FAL, Black Market AK-M or Carbine 7. If youre going to use ranger, the FAL is the king due to the damage falloff profile. You add the scope that gives you additional range and the damage falloff is at 60M or so before the damage starts to have its diminishing returns. If youre facing black tusk, the Contractor's gloves will come in handy for the armored targets
If you have the Eagle Bearer, try it with Negotiator’s Dilemma, Ceska Obliterate, and Momento (3 reds, 4 blues, 1 yellow). You can use Technician or Gunner depending on preference. Overall, my base stats run at 60% CHC and 150% CHD. You’ll need to use some CHC mods, but I think the Orbit and Gear Set bonus make up for it. Remember, Tenacity also synergizes with this to score easy multi kills and to safely collect Trophies.
But in a team that sux my friend used to run memento and in 2 floors of summit he didn't get 1 trophy lol 😆 😂 my smg build rips up all dps builds with memento.... 16 mill dps on dummy 🤣
@@dannynicholson50 At that point, I’d run the ND Backpack with Coyote’s mask. I might be a little squishy in turn, but at least 3 of my enemies will take 100% damage 😅
I combined your build with Coyote's mask and a striker drone with the crusaders shield. I also use a shotgun for self defence, just in case.😃 Really big fun to play, while farming for better gear, I'm just a beginner on watchlevel 42. Thanks for the inspiration and your great content. Your serie was very helpful for me.
The build is ok however....I use a 4 piece Negotiators Dilemma with Fox knees and Fenris chest with Focus talent. I use the AK and 8x scope. I use a shield and reviver hive and I can solo just about anything. My dps on one target is about 9mil so on three targets, especially warhounds, robots and chungas, I can get anywhere between 22.5mil and 26mil dps. Remember, robots and chungas never take cover so damage to targets out of cover is essential. I use gunner spec to give me more ammo and armour on kill.
I don't want to offend anyone but I don't prefer using fox´prayer kneepads because I lost 10% damage, instead I used fenris gloves because of the 10% AR damage. Overall, I've pulled up to 1.2 million damage with Eagle Bearer and Coyote Mask when someone is in a party with me. But it would take an old eagle bearer. I miss that gun. peepoSad

Really excellent AR Dmg build!! l just recently came back to division 2 and l was looking into dmg builds mainly for ARs (primary gun). This vid was a really great setup for heavy dmg and well synced talents to boost dps!
Well, ironically this build matches what I do in the game almost to a T, just with a marksmans rifle instead of a shotgun, and the skills instead being a Striker drone and the Cluster Seekers, sometimes the Demolisher Firefly, as they are really just to distract enemies or break armor, I’m looking at you, Outcast Sledgehammer Enemies
Thanks! Hollow Man is a mask, it depends what you are fighting, for endgame content it will really help you out against anything without Armour like BT Heavies or Wardogs specially with an AR already having a good chunk of Damage To Health.

100% agree, always start with crit damage on gear, that's why I have crit damage rolled on every gear piece on this build but because I've also balanced crit chance throughout the build I'm able to make use of the weapon mods as well as one attribute on each piece of gears and the gear mods.
My build is as follows> Coyote's mask, Fenris GroupForsakt Breastplate, talent..Focus, Holster,Gloves and Backpack Providence Defense, talent Perfect Vigilance,Or Grupo Dusk Attack Gloves and Fox Prayer Kneepads, Fal Sa 58 Para with Ranger and off course The Mantis, Average Score 1 million bodyshots up to 2 million headshot with the Ass.R. 17 Mil with the Mantis. If you have a group, try all four with the same gearset, then roll as much cr.damage as possible on your set because the 4x C.mask gives you the 60% cr/d for free. Bobyshots are then 2 Million minimum with an Assult rifle. Have fun. Do not tell anyone! LOL.
im trying to do the same but will put 2 armor with armor bonus to get that 1.1k armor to survive a little better.. i was wonderring if Composure could be a second choice.. will do less damage but will always have the damage bonus in cover

I Almost had the same build a tweak some stuff around but I have it at the same as yours and I love it I use it all the time now but I use the bighorn and I hit like 1.1 mill damage it’s crazy
That shotgun, does it shoots slug ammo. And can you do different grips and barrel on ARs? And what is the best AR mid to long range that shoots semi auto (like pop....pop....pop...pop, does it work with a level action Rifle) and can you make the weapons and gear different colors?
Nobody is making videos about early builds for beginner players. 2.5k shd level, maxed out watch and inventory full of exotics... If somebody's going to make a video for newbies and early stage of shd for pve build let me know because this isn't helping at all.
Because if you're using a talent that increases the damage you take there's nothing wrong with a perk that helps you recover armour per kill, any extra sources of healing when you're made of paper is good healing.
Could this build still work? Ive been looking for a build that doesnt require any stacking as it means I have to get close to get the most use out of it.
It does! I have the same preference when it comes to build, all about instant burst damage without having to stack anything. Nice build, I've been using for a couple hours but I have a problem. The first couple of control points, I have no trouble of hitting 700k-900k. But now, my gun is stuck at 400k even when Im not being shot at. No I didn't change anything. Instead I upgrade the crit damage. Do you have any idea what's the problem here?

I use Hunter's Fury 4 piece and I use Liquid Engineer back pack with Bloodsucker and a Sokolov chest piece with Intimidate. So I get over 1.6-2M armour and 35% extra weapon damage. Weapons for that build is the Dark Winter and the Scorpio. I use the Striker drone as a sidekick.
Momento. Two piece sokolove for crit damage and SMG DAMAGE Bel stone for one percent armor regen. This is a MUST unless you have two or three minor attributes rolled to armor regen, but Belstone is better. 1% regen is higher than rolls you can get on minor attributes. Ceska Last piece of gear can be anything. Want more regen and armor on kill? Add another belstone. Want some protection from elites ? Add modified equipment. Want extra multiplicative damage ? Add walker and Harris or foxs prayer. Want even more armor regen?? Ceska, one sokolov, groupo, momento, wivrin, foxs . Roll one major attributes to skill tiers. Roll two to damage. And two to stamina. Try to reach a solid 150 crit damage and 55% crit chance. 40 percent stability helps if you can pull it off . Add a trait protection from elites mod mod. Just one. Cause you will only have 1.3 million armor. Run Kinetic momentum for the best. Use Technician. You’ll be consistently at skill tier three. Repair skills are extremely boosted from kinitec momentum. But you still have have 3 damage attributes (two roles plus momento) and healing. Equip an smg with “future perfect” and proc future perfect and you will dominate lol.
@@SpitfireSpud for now the bases of the build is 4 armour cores and 2 damage cores but all extra attributes are things like crit damage and crit chance with 3 armour regen attributes, it not great ik so that's why i have asked for tips and you have helped a bit so thanks
I use Crit Hit Chance mods on my backpack, chest piece, or mask, and Crit Hit Chance attributes on some if not most of my other gear, my Crit Hit Chance is at or near 60% without using any Ceska gear, I currently run a 3 piece Walker, One piece Fenris (chest piece w/ Obliterate) one piece Providence (The Gift), and Sawyer's Kneepads, is there any benefit to running a Ceska if I'm already at the 60% Crit Hit Chance cap? Should I ditch one of the Walker pieces for a Grupo piece for the Crit Hit Damage considering I'm already at the Crit Hit Chance cap? It's an AR primary build, SMG secondary. Thanks in advance for the help

Ah I see what you mean, is that segment of the video I was specifically talking about the weapon alone which was why I didn't include the 8% from the kneepads.

Incredible to see so low comments, and also not much views but really they are very well made, and followable from newbies to the game. and also not newbies. It's really well done also videos that are not on this. You should cover really everything I mean any games cinema, anything sports.. you have an important talent not virtual game stuff, real game stuff. If I may share with you a secret: do videos that also include "boring" settings complete review. This is something nobody does because most are noobs and not real players they do not understand what is useful. People who knew how to review like Total Biscuit used to do this! If you will cover settings and keybindings you will see .. the secret is: how you cover them. Talk of all the opportunities you see the playstyle one can have by setting the game in certain way or allow people to easily imagine what they could do with those settings 0 and 1s but also more complex the keybindings to show what the each video game allows to control and not control. Stay positive and thanks for all the videos (I watched around 10 of them 2 days ago - I was astonished on how complete they were for example the one that describes is it worth to play TD1 in 2021 was really good.) It's been a while but I believe the red weapon skin was from a box in DC, not a specific one, but various boxes around the DC map drop a limited about of cosmetics. And the weapons are either just farmed for or crafted them recalibrated to get the attributes right.
@@ThatAbrax is more accurate and Stable i think and the bit less rpm makes it better to land shots at distance while is in a sweet spot between for ex. The m4 and the fal para or the tactical mk16
Currently the Waveform holster is in the general loot pool so farming anywhere with 'Holster' targeted loot will be able to drop it, also if they re-run Season 4(Faye) it should also be on the free reward track again too. Hope that helps!
It does but Glass Cannon in PvP is extremely punishing so I would look at swapping that out for another damage talent(Obliterate or Spotter with some kind of Pulse) Also if you want to jump into PvP I would also recommend swapping 2 or 3 of the core attributes to Armour for a little more protection. probably a combination on playing on PC with a mouse being a little easier to keep stable then a controller(In most cases) and a lot of time in game lol
Use 1 roll for weapon handling and you get the same effect, I always sacrifice 1 roll for weapon handling, it gives you a lot of advantage because you hit a lot more. By the way, the Police M4 is a very good Ass.rifle that is already stady by default. THe Para hit harder.
This build still works great as it is, a classic all-red glass cannon build, however, I am considering re-making/updating some of my previous build videos that have had changes.
@@ThatAbrax Quick question. Could you say this build is still able to compete with other dps builds you made? Such as Striker or other brand set builds in your arsenal.
I prefer Obliterate instead of Glass Canon for Raid. Ranger makes sense on the Razorback map or against third boss in Iron Horse. Otherwise Strained / Optimist is better for short range.
@@L-BitD just looking for insane high dps build for raid/all rounder so raids solo teamplay/legendary. i've tried spotter with 8x scope also hits hard but dont like the party when it needs to build up first and lose sight hurts my performance
You can but for Raids Glass Cannon can make you a little squishy so something more like Obliterate or Spotter(With a way to pulse targets) would still give good damage but with a little more survivability. For Raids I actually use this build(czcams.com/video/42OruQ9EnlU/video.html) using the Famas more then the rifle but it can take a little getting use to playing scoped it with an AR. Hope that helps!

nice, real informative, as i just started digging into gearing up now and its all quite overwhelming with so much things going on/possible, always wondered how to get it properly done [with the proper base chc at least!]. Now, the question is, i see some players have around the same chd as you but also have about 200 headshot damage ontop, hows that possible!?...
its not possible. but they migth have a marksman rifle witch gives you extra 111% hs dmg im pretty sure. but you only get that headshot dmg when you are using that wepon ofc
Cheers! It's very tricky to increase both crit and headshot together with there only being limited attributes. What you could do is run a build like this with an SMG which comes with a good amount of crit chance as a fixed attribute that will free up a few minor attributes on gear to be rolled to headshot damage, plus you could use headshot or crit damage on the random 3rd weapon attribute but I'd still prefer Damage to targets out of cover. You could also rely more on talents like finisher and killer to increase your crit damage too.

for the holster I make Improvised Holsters, gives you a extra gear piece slot to add to your stats, for either skill based or damage based skills

The holsters both have 4 rolls!!
@@oldhippie8774 Improve Holsters are the only Holsters you can ADD a mod, other holsters all have 3 roles.

How to make an improvised holster? You need to unlock a bp for this

The armored targets don´t respond to armour damage, respond to health damage, it desn´t make sense but for some reason that´s how Massive designed it.

I like the stinger hive to drop and run away when closed in on and the Savage Wolverine for the cyclic rate extra damage within 7 ft.

Remember CHD and CHC mods on weaps are only 5% so you're better off with crit chance mods on gun and less on build. Use build to get more crit dmg.

And I have another build with my banshee smg that puts out 100k , then as my secondary I run Scorpio and still have 1.2 mil in armor
Build is great for heroic atleast for me wish there was a way to have a tad more armor

If you changed the mods on the M4, couldn't you end up with the same crit chance cap but more CHD from using gear mods?

How is armour on kill handy for glass cannon? Literally, when you put on that glass canon, your armour becomes irrelevant.

Would using the Coyote's mask work if i replace the overlord kneepads with the missing providence piece instead?

Bel stone for one percent armor regen. This is a MUST unless you have two or three minor attributes rolled to armor regen, but Belstone is better. 1% regen is higher than rolls you can get on minor attributes.
Ceska
Last piece of gear can be anything. Want more regen and armor on kill? Add another belstone. Want some protection from elites ? Add modified equipment. Want extra multiplicative damage ? Add walker and Harris or foxs prayer.
Want even more armor regen?? Ceska, one sokolov, groupo, momento, wivrin, foxs .
Roll one major attributes to skill tiers. Roll two to damage. And two to stamina. Try to reach a solid 150 crit damage and 55% crit chance. 40 percent stability helps if you can pull it off
. Add a trait protection from elites mod mod. Just one. Cause you will only have 1.3 million armor.
Run Kinetic momentum for the best. Use Technician. You’ll be consistently at skill tier three. Repair skills are extremely boosted from kinitec momentum. But you still have have 3 damage attributes (two roles plus momento) and healing. Equip an smg with “future perfect” and proc future perfect and you will dominate lol.
@@SpitfireSpud for now the bases of the build is 4 armour cores and 2 damage cores but all extra attributes are things like crit damage and crit chance with 3 armour regen attributes, it not great ik so that's why i have asked for tips and you have helped a bit so thanks
@@YardratZ hunters fury momento and sokolov or grupo intimidate is just as good if not better. With 1.3 mill armor.
I use Crit Hit Chance mods on my backpack, chest piece, or mask, and Crit Hit Chance attributes on some if not most of my other gear, my Crit Hit Chance is at or near 60% without using any Ceska gear, I currently run a 3 piece Walker, One piece Fenris (chest piece w/ Obliterate) one piece Providence (The Gift), and Sawyer's Kneepads, is there any benefit to running a Ceska if I'm already at the 60% Crit Hit Chance cap? Should I ditch one of the Walker pieces for a Grupo piece for the Crit Hit Damage considering I'm already at the Crit Hit Chance cap? It's an AR primary build, SMG secondary. Thanks in advance for the help

@9:15 Your calculation was off. You forgot the 8% DTOC on Fox's Prayers. So, with DTOC on your weapon, that's always 18% not 10%. Yea that's alot!
Ah I see what you mean, is that segment of the video I was specifically talking about the weapon alone which was why I didn't include the 8% from the kneepads.

If I may share with you a secret: do videos that also include "boring" settings complete review. This is something nobody does because most are noobs and not real players they do not understand what is useful. People who knew how to review like Total Biscuit used to do this!
If you will cover settings and keybindings you will see .. the secret is: how you cover them. Talk of all the opportunities you see the playstyle one can have by setting the game in certain way or allow people to easily imagine what they could do with those settings 0 and 1s but also more complex the keybindings to show what the each video game allows to control and not control.

Where do you find these guns? And how do you get red weapon skins ?
It's been a while but I believe the red weapon skin was from a box in DC, not a specific one, but various boxes around the DC map drop a limited about of cosmetics.
And the weapons are either just farmed for or crafted them recalibrated to get the attributes right.

Is eagle bearer ok replacement for m4?
Yeah, I swap it out sometime just because I like the feel of the Eagle Bearer but it also adds a little more survivability to the build.

Currently the Waveform holster is in the general loot pool so farming anywhere with 'Holster' targeted loot will be able to drop it, also if they re-run Season 4(Faye) it should also be on the free reward track again too.

Does this work build work in pvp?
It does but Glass Cannon in PvP is extremely punishing so I would look at swapping that out for another damage talent(Obliterate or Spotter with some kind of Pulse)
Also if you want to jump into PvP I would also recommend swapping 2 or 3 of the core attributes to Armour for a little more protection.

How is your fire is so stable?
probably a combination on playing on PC with a mouse being a little easier to keep stable then a controller(In most cases) and a lot of time in game lol
Use 1 roll for weapon handling and you get the same effect, I always sacrifice 1 roll for weapon handling, it gives you a lot of advantage because you hit a lot more. By the way, the Police M4 is a very good Ass.rifle that is already stady by default. THe Para hit harder.

This build still works great as it is, a classic all-red glass cannon build, however, I am considering re-making/updating some of my previous build videos that have had changes.

can you use this for raids or will you get to much damage?
I prefer Obliterate instead of Glass Canon for Raid. Ranger makes sense on the Razorback map or against third boss in Iron Horse. Otherwise Strained / Optimist is better for short range.
@@L-BitD just looking for insane high dps build for raid/all rounder so raids solo teamplay/legendary. i've tried spotter with 8x scope also hits hard but dont like the party when it needs to build up first and lose sight hurts my performance
@@RisingReap focus is a good decision imo for raid. For close range shotgun. Focus and delemma for legendary works good.
You can but for Raids Glass Cannon can make you a little squishy so something more like Obliterate or Spotter(With a way to pulse targets) would still give good damage but with a little more survivability.
For Raids I actually use this build(czcams.com/video/42OruQ9EnlU/video.html) using the Famas more then the rifle but it can take a little getting use to playing scoped it with an AR.

nice, real informative, as i just started digging into gearing up now and its all quite overwhelming with so much things going on/possible, always wondered how to get it properly done [with the proper base chc at least!]. Now, the question is, i see some players have around the same chd as you but also have about 200 headshot damage ontop, hows that possible!?...
its not possible. but they migth have a marksman rifle witch gives you extra 111% hs dmg im pretty sure. but you only get that headshot dmg when you are using that wepon ofc

It's very tricky to increase both crit and headshot together with there only being limited attributes.
What you could do is run a build like this with an SMG which comes with a good amount of crit chance as a fixed attribute that will free up a few minor attributes on gear to be rolled to headshot damage, plus you could use headshot or crit damage on the random 3rd weapon attribute but I'd still prefer Damage to targets out of cover.
You could also rely more on talents like finisher and killer to increase your crit damage too.
