The fact he did it all for lean is even more dumb; we used to give that stuff away back in the day as it's a weak opioid with the added bonus of messing up your kidneys, liver, bloat your stomach, and lower your seizure threshold way more than a strong opioid like Dilaudid or Oxy. YB is straight-up on the short bus with these moves and now he's gonna have to dry out in jail and sit in a cell for however long over it.
Nowadays, the feds are all over doctors and pharmacies when it comes to controlled substance prescriptions even when they're wholly legitimate. Doctors are getting indicted and their lives flipped upside down if they prescribe "too many" scripts by saying they're trafficking even if their patients have genuine needs for painkillers.... nevermind the sketchy pill mill doctors who are getting caught left and right these days to be thrown in federal prison. YB's half-assed plan to steal doctors' DEA IDs and names to put in fake scripts left and right all over Utah had zero chance of allowing him or anyone to get away with it since it only takes one call from a pharmacy to put it on the feds' radar.
