I was working as a chef and really unhappy with my life when my Dad died. I was 23 and some times I think to myself, that was my Dads last memory of me; unhappy.
Six years later I've been back to college, got a first class honours in music production and I'm now going for my masters. I work in a studio during the summers off from college and basically I am doing what I love every day of my life. And my Dad gets to see none of this. If I think about it, it hurts.
The reason I'm saying this because I've read people in the comments section saying the line "pain in my chest still hurts that my mum cant see my success" really relates to them.. And it relates for me too, so much. Do what you love in life, anyone who is reading this. You're in control of your own life and destiny. Mist is all you need to look at to understand that this is true.

Anyone noticed that whenever Mist makes a song with Shadow it's an instant fan favourite which everyone likes from he get go, I fuck with their beats but whenever he makes a track with Sevaqk and Steel Banglez it takes time for it to grow on the fans.

That's what makes me think that Mist isn't as good as I first thought, and it was more the productions.
Keir Bo Nahh don't get it twisted, Mist is a good rapper, but what he lacks in is versatility like J Hus, the thing with J Hus is he can jump on any beat from any producer and kill it, Mist is different he has a sound which can only work well on specific types of beats, The thing with Shadow he understands Mist's needs as an artist in terms of instrumentals, which is why he's able to get the most of Mist through his beats.
I like Steel Banglez & that Sevqak guy but Mist needs to link up with Shadow much more like he used to, the chemistry he has with Shadows beats is perfect.
