Sir agar bank me credit amounts jyadha tha lekin kam dhikaya tha ( Sales kam dhikaya). Dept summon beja U/s 70, lekin settlement karliya ki all credits not relates to business, and taxpayer sahi sales dhikaya bolke dept finalise kiya. tho iss case me dept phir se notice bhej sakthe dusra officers se. Pls tell me this doubt.

Sir recently a taxpayer has been received a notice u/s 70 for Apr-22 to Dec-23, his business is Bricks manufacturing. but in the said period he opted in composition scheme. as per circular he should have to pay 6% without ITC. His short paid tax amount is 7 lacs. If He settle the case with authorities, can he receive notice again for short payment of tax in the future after case closed by authorities that he has no tax to pay?
