You could tell Cam was enjoying taking it all in (#pause) and learning and absorbing the stuff Dan was saying about media, broadcasting, and interviewing. Credit to both guys but Cam especially for showing that he wants to and is eager to learn. I really enjoyed this interview.

It’s so great to see so many ex players getting into the media space without having to be under a big network and having their own unfiltered opinion. You got Edelman, Kelce brothers, Cam, Tom Compton and Taylor Lewan etc. I hope this trend continues and it weeds out all the “media people” that just add bullshit and speak out the ass.

Athletes will never replace the ability of commentators to tell a story and create an easy to follow narrative at a sports game. The two work together with insights, and athletes are certainly a compliment, but to say they're the future I think is a stretch.
I thought cam was hating on Brock when I first heard him call him a game manager, but I took a step back and thought about it. It doesn't matter if u r a game manager, some of the best qbs were considered game managers. This doesn't mean they can't be good or great qbs. As a 49er fan for 35 years I know that the west coast offense is made for thr qb to make quick reads and get the ball into the ball carriers hands. Which Joe Montana did, Steve Young did, but he also had that element of run to him. Now Purdy does it with the cast he has, they have led the league I think 3 or 4 years in a row of most yards after catch. So why not ask your qb to get the ball in those guys hands, and let them make something happen. On another note I do think cam has been getting better, like Dan said don't be afraid to let your guest give u the answer. I think cam will do well with his podcast, as long as he stays hungry and enjoys what he's doing.
When cam called brock a game manager he explained what it was , before that topic even came up he was the FIRST ONE that gave him praise when he went to the nfc title game the year he came off the bench , which was the same year everyone called him " Mr irrelevant " an to me ? That term is considered or can be compared to trash average mid ect , cam NEVER called him that .
I agreed with Cams take on Lamar. Towards the end I think Cam changed his style to prove to the media he could do things they said he couldn’t. I believe Lamar is now doing the same thing
