Really nice sculpture! :D Are there any other websites where I can follow your work? You should probably put what kind of clay you used in the description, since people tend to ask that a lot. I hope your channel grows a lot :)
Hi! thank you very much for the feedback. I don't have a website at the moment, just this channel. I'll be uploading more figures soon. I used oil based clay. I'll put that in the description
Awesome work! What type of clay did you use? Does it just air dry and you have to make this in 1 setting or do you bake it to make it solid? What type of wiring did you use for the wings? Suggestions for where to buy supplies to attempt something like this?
Thanks a lot :) This is oil based Clay, no need to bake it. You should be able to get the wire mesh in a hardware store. The clay in an art supplies store.
i am not trying to be mean (really i am not) but is this good?...thinking about getting in to doing this and i seen some videos that wowed me but i see this one and it doesnt look done (again not trying to be mean)
It's true, there are much better sculptors out there, I'm just an amateur, but I just wanted to share the whole process in case someone liked it or wanted to give it a shot
I am also an extremely talented artist at making all kinds of things like this amazing dragon i have already made but only the head that lights up in the darkness and I think you should get two bright yellow leds and make the eyes light up on this dragon of yours and it will really look amazing like a children's dragon table lamp and feed very thin wire down inside both legs and into the base below it's standing on run by a couple of batteries inside the box with a switch on the side of it this is really cool this dragon of yours i used clay as well and lots of it to make clever things like this
@@ClayStation1 I'm so glad you reply fast 😅 Okay! And just to be clear, I don't need to bake it AT ALL... This is for someone dear to me I'm giving to him as a gift. :) I wish I could show you! I'm pretty proud of it.
@@ClayStation1 I do want to add that I used the medium blend Super Sculpey. Idk if this changes anything I just got really scared when it said baking instructions on the box
ok number 1, that's a wyvern dragons with back legs and no front legs are wyverns but dragons WITH front and back legs AND wings are dragons. just saying XD

There were 1,599 likes on your video. I made it 1.6K.
the only critique i have would be that his snout is to short and to thick. but the body is very good
Thanks for your feedback 👍
It's because he is young.
Old dragons have longer snout.
@@domsau2 Alduin is the oldest dragon.
@@domsau2 He's the "First-born son of Akatosh"
what is the thing you used on the wings? is it tin foil orr??
Hi, I used a thin wire mesh
More likely in a hardware store
What method of finishing do you use for these sculptures? I can't imagine that this dragon would fit in a standard oven or kiln.
This kind of oil-based clay stays relatively hard, no need to cook it.
I need to find out where I can buy sculpting mesh. Insanely awesome by the way.
Thank you! Good luck finding that sculpting mesh :) remember to share your creations after
I'll try my best to remember.
did you fire this after? are you able to with metal/foil inside?
nope, no fire
Is that super sculpey firm?
what material did you use to make wings? this metal net piece :u how is it called?
that's a wire mesh, you should find it in a hardware store
ohh thank you so much for fast reply!

you win the internet, sir
@@ClayStation1 you win my Subscribe, sir
May I ask what brand of oil based Clay you used? Im creating a dragon myself for someone!
Hi, I used super sculpey
@@ClayStation1 did you use the Medium, firm or Original? I looked it up. I saw a dragon on the outside box of the medium blend lol
SKYRIM.

It looks like a dodo bird mixed with a dinosaur
how long would you say this entire process took you?
I would say 15-20 hours total
ClayStation incredible work man! Thanks for sharing with all of us, did you end up painting this bad boy?
Haven't painted it yet. Thanks a lot for watching :) I'm glad you liked it
Que material es
Plastilina para escultores
fus ro dah
This might sound dumb, but how long did you bake it for?
I used super sculpey, no need to bake it. Just keep it warm when you're modeling it and then it will solidify when it's cold
@@ClayStation1 how long should I keep it in the freezer or fridgerator ? My piece is almost done!
@@kbmiller1113 it shouldnt' take that long to solidify, probably about 10 minutes in the fridge

напоминают скорее летающих ящеров а не драконов. Я не нашел то что нужно
жаль это слышать
that s wyvern
Wyverns are a type of dragon
Wyverns are a subspecies of dragon.
Oh cmon, thats cheating
Well, how is it going to stand if soft then?
you have maked 2 vids but you have alredy 316 subs
im now your subscriber and this sculped dragon looks cool
Looks unfinished with gray colour
CLICK BAIT HE DID NOT SCULP IT HE MADE A BASE AND PUT CLAY
**Loves the vid but it bothers me that ITS A WYVERN AND EVERYONE CALLS EM DRAGONS IN SKYRIM LIKE OH MY GOD**
(Shhhh let me overreact in my corner.)
ok number 1, that's a wyvern dragons with back legs and no front legs are wyverns but dragons WITH front and back legs AND wings are dragons. just saying XD
patty levesque31 dragon is a broad term, it's covers all mythical lizards. Wyvern is a type of dragon plus they are called dragons in the game
But you used the term dragon to describe a wyvern because
Well we all know it
They're considered dragons
Wyverns are a type of dragon
seen beter
me too :)
willy bos I've seen better grammar too.
What material do you use to sculpt?
I used oil based clay
