It would remove the entire purpose of what fights are meant to be in the game. Sure it's useful put not knowing adds a lot to the satisfaction when actually defeating a boss
The reason they dont let you see the boss health until you die in the fight is to keep you on your toes. You dont really know when the boss will be knocked out, even during its final phase, your basically searching for that knock out screen (which i love how they tricked players in one of the DLC bosses because of that)

This is a very interesting way to battle the airplane bosses, dejimmis puppet phase is bugged, fighting dr khal looks like it would be more of a challenge without the airplane.
I was so worried about what wally's fight would be like without the plane... that I completely forgot about the coral, in the last phase of cala maria's fight *STILL* having a hitbox... that's rought buddy.
Could you potentially beat that phase by going into it with enough HP (including from Chalice's ability, which potentially lets you store 2 HP if you have one active and another ready to go) and killing her quickly while getting hit each time the mercy invincibility wears off?
Even with all of that I think It still being impossible because the normal bullets as you could see in the entire video makes lesser damage than the plane bullets, but idk may be a pro tryhard find a way to make it possible
Not getting hit until the end + divine relic (3 extra lives by parrying) + other 3 extra lives (Djimmi spin) + 2nd super art and you can surely beat Cala Maria. Pretty hard, but possible.
I mean, maybe. But you deal way less damage than with the plane, so I am not sure if it's theoretically possible. But if, yeah, it would be very hard to pull off.
I feel like Cala Maria would make a good ground boss if the graphics weren't messed up and the coral didn't hurt you. Maybe just add a platform and it'll be good

That one it’d be cool to have a gimmick where you have to constantly run to the left similar to that dominos boss), and make some attacks work like Cala Maria’s stone gaze or Djimmi’s Puppethead phase

The hilda berg fight looks like it could work as a regular fight. Just add a platform at the bottom and make the the background slowly pass by. Like grim matchstick’s screen scrolling. But just keep the platform in the same place. But still, it looks cool. Edit:all of them actually look like they could be a regular battle. Just for some of them add moving platforms like grim matchstick’s side scroller/moving clouds. And that’s it.
I laughed hard when the recomended videos popped up at the end as i waited for that for next phase in that last plane fight.. Comedic timing at its best
I'd say the hardest are Dr Kahl's Robot due to the amount of bullets onscreen, Djimmi the Great for the same reason, and Wally Warbles due to limited space in the last phase
It is possible to death Maria 1,get 7 with chalice 2,Don’t take any damage into the last phase 3,Get as many of those heart supers as possible (I don’t know if you can have more at one time if not keep super meter filled) 4,use the most damaging weapons like round a bout or the purple ball one 5,When on the last phase after ever time you take damage do a double jump to avoid seconds of taking damage again while doing damage

I’d imagine it’s something to do with the code accounting for the plane moving along the screen. Since you’re just standing on the floor the game does t count this as moving forward so the bullets just stay till they disappear, which would normally happen off screen. Idk just an idea
My Guess is that this always happens, just out of bounds of the game vision Plane fights have much larger field of view, and many more bullets, perhaps the way the game process some of them is different than normal fights, Making then continuously go in the out of bounds area, but since there are walls with the normal battle they just hit it and get stuck
You know what would have been cool? If they added clouds like in the Grim Matchstick boss but it would have a long big one and you would have to jump every once in a while

I’m pretty sure dejimmi’s puppet phase is glitched because if you become a small airplane while he’s reading your mind it puts you in a secret phase.
Cala Maria is probably the only one that can be turned to a normal boss fight if they tweeked it a bit
