- March 18, 2004 - Diana Ross' closing night of her Live Love Tour at Wembley Arena in London. Feather headdress by Philip Treacy. Gown by Bob Mackie - she wore this one also at the 1991 Oscars when she performed 'Somewhere over the Rainbow'.
How lucky all of you to meet Diana Ross and watch her live. Oh God! I wish me too. I love her so muchhh💖💖💖💖
I was it this show here in Wembley and the evening before in Birmingham UK! It was so emotionally charged! She did appear anxious on both openings. It was her first UK arena tour after some personal health issues including DUI charge, Heathrow Security Gate! Loss of her ex husband etc... but it took her a couple of songs and she seemed to realise her UK audiences adore her. First time too she had performed supremes songs in their entirety and not a medley form. The show too was over 2 hours long with an intermission. She was also in rare form .... I first saw her live in 1982, I was just 15! I’ve loved her ever since and to me this was one of my favourite live concerts ever!!! She never seems to want to get on an aeroplane anymore and come back to England which is such a shame because she can still fill an arena here!!!

I was at this show too! I've been looking for coverage/footage of it for years! It's a night I'll never forget.. I was 8 years old at the time, the youngest person in the entire arena, I couldn't even see at first, sat in the 3rd row from the stage until a man in front noticed me (slightly stunned by my age as well i think) & put me up on his shoulders for the entire concert, singing along to EVERY word & mimicking her moves all whilst on a strangers shoulders, Diana even noticed & acknowledged me at several points during the show.. it made my night! I can still remember it vividly, such a phenomenal woman & a source of inspiration to this day & now I'm almost 24 & still listening to her music

This was one of her best ever looks.
I was at this show, she started quite shaky, but 20 mins in she upped the energy and it turned out to be a magnificent show.
Take Me Higher is not a great show opener though.
dressmakers dummy What do you mean by shaky. What happened? I know this was around the time she was coming back after the driving issue and a few years before that the supremes reinion tour she attempted.
She just didn't burst onto the stage in her usual manner, she seemed to be very nervous.
As I say, after a few songs she hit her stride and the show was great; she looked absolutely gorgeous and her outfits were outstanding.
