- This is my first day in Afghanistan as a a Pakistani tourist. Starting in Austria, I ride my motorcycle through Europe, Russia, Mongolia, Central asian countries and finally into Afghanistan.

Mulana jalal ud din balkhi(R.A) is commonly known as molana rumi(R.A).he was born in balkh that's why he's called balkhi, but he migrated to "nishapur" with his father baha ud din(R.A) who was also a famous scholar at that time. From nishpur he traveled to "baghdad" then "hijaz" and then seljuki sultan ala ud din kikubat invited him to konya,Rum (modern day turkey) where he died and was buried. That's why he is commonly known as mulana Rum or Rumi (R.A)
OMG! he is maulana Jalaluddin rumi r. ! maybe he is not known locally as Rumi, as he is known to the rest of the world.

Balkh is the origin of pashto language.its ancient name was "bakht".ancient name of pashto was "bakhto".and now its called pakhto or pashto.

I wish you would have visited the Data Sahib hometown too in Afghanistan. One of the brothers of Daata sahib buried in Afghanistan in his hometown. There is town called " Chisht" in Afghanistan the hometown of Sultan ul Hind, Khuawaja Ghareeb Nawaz of Ajmer Sharif. His hometown "Chisht" is also in Afghanistan

@@AdventurousArchie Yes Abraar bhai also visited parts of Syria which are equally dangerous as Afghanistan. Abrar bhai also planned a road trip towards Central Asia but due to COVID restrictions he changed his plans and went to the Middle East. He was actually planning to return back to Germany via Central Asia may from the same route which you took.
Have you ever met Abrar bhai? Because he visited Austria while his journey back to Pakistan.
Can you tell me why did you chose this route instead of Greece, Turkey, Iran route?

@@AliAhmed-fq5lj it depends on your budget and type of journey you want to do. I think after 25000 KMs I think Benelli or Ducati Multistrada are heavy for such kind of journey.
