Funny I've found your video. Have a project where I have to build two motorized ceilings, 7x5 meters each, metal frame and with plywood cladding and around 500/600kg. Funnily enough the system I have designed is exactly the same, just heavy duty with rope wire, heavy duty pulleys etc., but essentially the same haha

Just flat bar folded in a few places to form a triangle and then welded - very simple
How is the motor performance
