Manuel Legarda's body of work is stuff for legends... With all the Wolfgang albums, live performances, signature guitars, this guy has done a lot for the instrument. And in this episode we get to confirm that he is more of an artist rather than a purely technical player. A poet of the guitar.

Thank you Sir Perf, this series just made me pickup my guitar again after being on and off of it for a couple of years. Playing the guitar brings a certain calmness. Much needed calmness. Downside lang, Im looking to get something new. Hopefully when the budget allows it, I might get a new one. A better one than what I have right now. Thank you sir!
Manuel is 100% right. There is still room for improvement and the exercises are still something that you need to force yourself out of certain playing habits. Galing, the mindset and being open and humble about limitations. Not everyone can be Malmsteen but we can be the best versions of us.

Is Ike Heredia of Overdrive the same Ike Heredia who is also the brother of Louie Heredia? If yes, then I know him coz I played badminton with him and his wife at Celebrity Sports. Anyways, love these interviews, Perf. Bands I grew up listening to. I was actually working na when I was watching Wolfgang at the Atrium and Razorback at Kalye. 🤘
got a Manuel L story. i know a guy that knows a guy who happens to have Manuel’s guitar pedal. wolfgang had a gig in PSBA and after their set. He left (?) his pedal, forgot if it was a metalzone. at first no one knew who owns it, but the guy who got it rather kept it. Eventually, manuel realized that it was missing and was furious abt it.
