New Hunger Games Book and Film Announcement | Sunrise on the Reaping

📣New Hunger Games Book & Movie to be released 📣
Suzanne Collins set to release fifth novel in the popular YA Hunger Games series titled ‘Sunrise on the Reaping’ which is set to be released March 18th 2025
With a film adaptation of the novel to be released November 20th 2026 by regular Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence.
The story starts with the reaping of the tributes for the 50th Hunger Games - the second ever quarter quell which features double the usual amount of tributes with 48 instead of 24. A young Haymitch Abernathy is one of the 4 tributes selected from District 12.

That is exciting news. I loved the original movies and books. I did not read the prequel but did not enjoy the movie version as much. Hopefully this is better.

It should be a pretty cool arena. But it’ll also be interesting to see what Haymitch was like before and after the games. X
