Brett brewed these on the day I visited him. Not suprised you liked them, cause al his beers I tasted that day were great. Cheers and congrats with Martha's results!
Those were probably the best looking beers I have ever seen! I think the colour was outstanding and the carbonation was perfect! Lagers are difficult to brew and I have had the odd success but more often failed😩. However my next brew, which I am hoping to brew with Cheshire Homebrew will be a 40 litre batch of the South African lager I have been challenged to brew by my South African buddies. I would love it to be the same colour as yours on this video. I am pleased someone is like me in the respect that I never use liquid yeast😂 far too expensive😂 Well done Martha in passing the exam, she is a star and her hard work has paid off 👍👍👍
Really glad you enjoyed then mate. I wish I had some left to try along Rick but all gone. 60m boil. Both had British Hops in. EKG at FWH 13 IBUs, EKG at 40m 4 IBUs, UK Chinook at flame out 2.5 IBU and EKG 1 IBU at flame out. Another 2 Lagers in tank though so all will be well by Christmas. No pressure this time and diff liquid yeasts. Currently sat at 1C until I crack 😜. Congrats on the 11+ results Martha 🍻🍻🍻🍻
I absolutely loved them I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your genius . Thanks again for thinking of me and sending the lovely beers. Seriously proper quality. Martha says thanks, cheers 👍🏼🍻
Yeah liquid yeasts are touching 15 quid these days I think and yes you can reuse and grow them but I aint organised enough to do it properly. Speaking of which, I have a bitter in the keg where I used that clipper yeast from CML and it is great. Definitely worth trying if you have a pack to hand.
