I feel your pain for wanting to CAS, but the true trick of German Teams past 1st tier is
1) Spawn in your favorite tonk or SPG
2)Shoot one or two tanks
3)Inevitably die because everyone is blind
4)Spawn in your favorite fighter
5)Lay waste to every allied CAS vehicle imaginable. Leave none alive. Make them regret thinking they're going to farm.
6)Lose anyway despite sending over half the team back to the main menu.

@@airmanfpv964Spaa doesnt help especially since literally nobody knows how to use it. Second vehicle should be a fighter with bombs, so that you can both clear enemy cas and be useful to ground
Getting kills with the duck never gets old, but playing low to mid tier Germany feels like most team mates have IQ below 70
they're just mostly noobs.... the expirienced players dont play germany most of the time.

I feel like that higher you go, lesser the germans have brain activity, they play better in mid tier than in top tier.

I am OK at the game and regularly get top 3 on German teams. That's pretty bad.
But when you get a good German team. And I mean all decent players, that once in a thousand matches as Germany team.

They trade the ability to think for more complete line-ups, constant addition in each update, and undertiered tanks
Some tanks line the tiger h1 are 'balanced' in undertier since tiger h1 players are braindead
I would gladly love for Germany to not get anything if it means minor nations get some cool stuff, and for Gaijin to drop the 76 jumbo to 6.0 at least (because that is BS) I miss fighting em and I just feel horrible when I'm playing the Tiger 2 and see one (I usually let them pass if they don't know I'm there)
Reminds me of US air teams, honestly. So many games of watching an entire team with bombs on their fighters at treetop level die within one minute as they try to turnfight zeros or head-on do335's, then being last alive with the enemy team converging on me. Kind of stuff that makes me think they need to disable ground pounding armaments on fighters in air RB until the player has landed during the match to rearm.

Being a German main causes a player to go through every stage of grief during a game.
For some reason German mains always treat the game like it's team death match and completely forget that caps exist

Sometimes you need to free look, other times you need to use the mouse to look while controlling the plane with the keyboard.
Keep an eye on your alt and you should be fine. I've been doing it for years and even I crash sometimes when in a dog fight.
@@pavels266 Ability in a fight in war thunder will almost completely come down to experience with the movement system. Don't bother with free look most of the time, just point your camera at your enemy and guide yourself with constant keyboard inputs.

Using Shift or RMB which is the default track target camera is very good for this

@@dulguunjargal1199 You absolutely can do that in a chaotic dogfight, it's how experienced players keep situational awareness in large battles. Once you've mastered the camera control and can keep track of your target, you can start positioning your camera to give you a better idea of what's happening around your fight as well. Unless you have a massive mousepad though you might wanna increase your sensitivity lol. It's how smigol flies half the time, you can see it in all of his videos for an example.
As an avid Italy player, it’s hard to get a team with more brain power than a rotisserie chicken. It still amazes me how people go for kills and a subsequent loss rather than objectives and a win.
As a real Italy player, I capture tons of flags with my R3. You're a fake.
The best part is when half the team spawn in some sort of CAS aircraft or fighter, does fuck-all with it, and team positioning on the ground goes to shit cause there's like, 5 tanks with 3IQ combined between them.

That's why I care little for place in the scoreboard when I play Germany anymore. I do what I feel is necessary even when it's usually something really damned stupid and relying on there NOT being an enemy tank running around that I cant hear because the sound is glitched. I'd rather go for a cap than a kill if it means I don't lose the match (though if the enemy is a tough target I'll take care of them first)

When you fight Germany you have the Elite of the Panzer divisions as your enemies, but when your teamed up with them you have a bunch of children that barely know how to drive forward.

It's funny how Russian top tier has 70% win rate, yet I only have 30% with Ka50 and T80 lel
german games be like: lose 25 kills 5 captured points 9 assists, win 1 kill 4 deaths.
This video is why you dont base balancing on stats alone. New players play germany: germany has a bad winrate, it gets buffed, german tanks become op in the hands of a competent player. Everyone complains, but Gajing goes Nuh-huh using winrate as an accurate measure of strength.

Straight up, the reason German teams suffer so much is because they are the newest players to the game. When sponsorships show up on CZcams for example, they are ALWAYS for German TT starter packs…..
It really is sad because they have some of the coolest tech to play
I've been looking for a place to comment this and I 110% agree with you. Most German aircrafts are the bomb to play with but nobody knows how not to get instantly killed so before you can even manage to reach a comfortable altitude or attacking position, you check at the scoreboard and your whole team has been wiped clean
These made me genuinely laugh, god bless war thunder players for being even less competent than the 15 years olds they employed in the army back then
True but also the Russian lineups at 3.3-4.3 are incredibly strong (troll armor, rounds that pen under steep angles and lots of filler)
T series tanks at that br have to get right on you to have a effective shot though so its easy to kill them if the player doesn't know what they are doing.
@@imablock16 that's true though. They can be defeated if you know your stuff, a large portion of your team however does not (newer inexperienced players often start with Germany). So the team gets rolled over despite the efforts of 2/3 decent players.
The fireball flythrough around 2:18 made me yell out and pull back on the stick, just awesome play. Wins and defeats are determined by a matchmaker RNG, don't sweat it.

I feel it. They rarely go for a cap, are blind and deaf, rarely angle if they can or use their tanks properly at all, and lets not forget how they always hotbox as if they are going to use more than 30 shells.
I try to get deathless games with at least 4 kill in the Pz III M but after a few hour of German teams always losing I feel like throwing my controller out the window.
Playing Germany (and every other nation with this many hours in the game) feels like I'm Otto Carius surrounded by 14 y.o. HJ conscripts.
The worst is when you start off strong, your team is in semi-alright positions. You get 4-5 kills and think "they've got the ground safe, I'll take to the skies and provide air superiority. You take the occasional ground pound target too, cause it's there and hey, you're helping your te-what the hell happened to the entire team why are they on all three caps simultaneously"

I haven't played ground RB in years (and WT in general for a year) but I distinctly remember having a 24% winrate ratio on the Tiger H1. I AM THE BAD TEAMMATE :D
Id like to think I'm an above average German Main, having 3500+ battles and around 3k kills in the Jagdtiger has taught me a lot.
Its also taught me that 90% of the time, its gonna be the swedish or french tank that comes to my help, not the tiger h1 three feet away facing head on.
I've just come to not expect any help from my German teammates, I'll help them if they're right there but I'm not going out of my way for em as it results in me dying and wondering why I even tried it. Now, I have gotten some that just had an unlucky encounter (been there) and aside from the shot they took were actually pretty good

Living the Wehrmacht/Luftwaffe reality as the one ace among an entire sea of otherwise underwhelming troops who haven’t been trained well enough and rushed to the front
The reason I’m way more chill in WT than say, TF2 is because in WT, I don’t feel like my performance impacts the game, whether I’m first or last. With luck-based wins (ground strike targets getting blown up with no one around for example) and teammates being teammates, it doesn’t make me wanna win, despite winning litterally giving more rewards.
Contrast that to Team Fortress 2, where EVERY little bit matters when deciding who wins, and I get quite sweaty when it comes to winning, and as a medic main, I am on the front row of seeing every little mistakes teammates make. And since everyone’s pooled up together regardless of skill… yeah, it happens often.
Meanwhile, Soviets at this br will throw everything at the other team in order to win. I've ran out of shells before they ran out of tanks.

Seems to be a common mystery for CAS players, how they keep losing while flying around in the air, watching the enemy team....cap. On the ground.
Oh yea cause me clearing all the caps from enemy tanks and preventing more to come is the reason why my autistic teammates fail to capture and hold an empty zone

@@smigoltime They don't act because they only wait to get kills that don't exist anyomore because you already annihilated the enemy team. It might have been more effective to kill one or two players and stay in a medium/light tank and capping the points yourself. You can't blame someone for not doing something that you are not doing yourself, right?
I don't defend their bad gameplay, but many players seem to prefer getting kills over cap points. Much easier and safer than actually driving out of cover and risking getting your ass blasted by the enemy team.

There are two types of Germany tank main - those that are pure anti-son-of-a-bitch machines and those that are legally blind (and deaf and stupid too). That makes Germany incredibly frustrating to play because you'll lose 90% of the time, but also incredibly frustrating to fight against because sod's law states the guy you're shooting at is one of those good Germany players.

That is why I don't divide community by faction. Atleast 50 and probably up to 80% or players are so brain dead that they are the food of anyone who is even just above 1kd. Yeah I gotcha, they don't see themselves being the problem as they are too dumb to know their own limits but that is just humanity for You. Factions in game are just modifiers to all of that and yeah give a moron a simpler tool and he might look competent but in this case Germany is the starter nation very often due to "German tanks stronk" documentaries etc and then some t34 player of the same IQ just flattens W on his keyboard and aims at panzer anywhere and presses LMB.
If you take the word "German team", remove everything but the first E, add in a H and two Ls you get "hell".

yesterday I was playing at 8.7 (9.0 up-tier)... and *totally accidentally* spawned in a T-34-85 I had in my lineup just for fun.
And of course, we lost, and I was the top 1st player with: 4 kills, 2 assists and 3 deaths (all with 2x T-34-85's and a T-34-85(D-5T))
and I must say... IT FELT GREAT! 😂

God i feel that man, even if you're a pro or sum. Its pain whenever they just dont focus on capping and always rushing like they are playing the M18 or Sd.kfz 234/4 and died just a minute later to a sniper and then leave.
This is why I'm taking a break from pulling the team in most battles.

It really is a baffling thing. You lose by a ridiculous ticket margin, have 20 kills 3 caps etc and end up asking yourself who tf were yall dying too because clearly you werent fighting anyone or doing anything.

I main USSR, and when I play Germany I sometimes forget and expect my team to not camp at the back, then get killed because no one is anywhere near the points.
Ive been playing low tier Japan and there is soviet B25 spam now, literally like 288C spam, spawn dive drop and die, and there will always be 5 players that dive for one aircraft....
