Can anyone say where this engine worked on the island in its working life?????
Yes, it was at a pumping station in Freshwater before being put on display at Blackgang Chine.
Engine has now been sold off !It is no longer at Blackgang Chine, neither are all the other engines !!
That's sad. Hopefully they went to a good home.

@@zeidsuheimat2412 Hi, I'm in UK so no real idea of suppliers in Thailand.The engines are big strong things with only a few parts to wear out.Some UK companies could rebuild it but cost would be astronomic.
