- In this VladTV Full Interview, Notorious former NYPD officer Michael Dowd spoke about his time on the police force after joining in 1982.
The former police officer detailed working during the crack epidemic and how he transitioned into being a rogue cop, which included taking drugs and money from people on the street that he busted.
Dowd detailed select moments from his career which included having a hit placed on him and confronting the guy who ordered it. From there, Dowd talked about his venture into being a dealer himself.
He also spoke about getting arrested along with his partner, who wore a wire and cooperated with the feds, and Michael spoke about getting sentenced to 14 years in prison. To hear more, including Ben Stiller making a movie about him, hit the full interview above. - Zábava

Still consider a cop who works with the dealers less corrupt then cops who plant evidence
Facts. If you find me dirty legitimately, not no stalking profiling mess; legal stop and find because my mistake then you keeping the stash is better than me going to prison, probably cheaper than lawyer fees fighting it too.☝🏾📜
Amen!
Only a lowlife individual would think that bullshit
@@ghanahumber937 “works with dealers” could mean anything though.
Would you say a cop that catches a dealer and makes them throw away their drugs instead of arresting them is worse than a cop who is riding around illegally with drugs, pulling people over, and then planting them on that person so they can send them off to prison for years of their life is somehow better than the former ?

Sociopath

I've seen the documentary that he referred to and this interview is much better than the documentary could offer.
The guy is fascinating in so many ways. Most people try portray themselves in a certain way. This guy seems so honest that it makes me want to know more. I hope he writes a book.
There are already a few documentaries out about Dowd and his tenure at Brooklyn's 75th Precinct. Years ago, he infamously made 60 Minutes. He had the audacity to call the people who were supposed to be served by that precinct "low lifes."
Gotta respect the man’s ability to state the facts of his actions, good bad or indifferent, he’s not afraid to admit he was a scumbag at the time
That filth has no respect due, the only reason that he's not carrying on like he was, is because he got nailed and if he tries it again, he's going away for a very long time. You can't fix stupid and you can't fix a narcissistic psychopath.
This guy is no different then the gang bangers kids idolize in rap music. No difference at all

Maybe the couldnt prosecute him on those, but best believe he was involved.
You missign the bigger pictuer though. This man stood on his ten, he had a core set of principles he stood by, not aligned with either side, but internal and he is comfortable sharing his story right or worng. Captivating. Ironically it is appealing due to Dowd’s accountability and frankness. Besides, I lived in NEW YORK CITY the first 55 years of my life and witnessed East New York as virtually being a war zone during the period Mike described. With so much crime and corruption it’s easy to understand how a young cop can get entangled. Make a few unwise decisions and you can get yourself in knee deep with little room for escape. Great interview! I look forward to seeing a movie.
I worked in East New York and Brownsville with the homeless population. You still see senseless killings all the time. Children and elderly catching a stray bullet.
