- What a morning session this was!
With the weather having turned much colder, it almost made for the perfect morning to be out after the bushy tails.
I'd been feeding this location for a few months. Having shot 5 here a few weeks before, I'd noticed the nuts going now within just a couple of days. So I was confident there were a few still to be had. Plus I'd seen one or two there while feeding up on the odd occasion.

That little bird at 17:38 is the most savage thing in this video.
“Oh, you’re dead? I guess you won’t be needing this...”
Love squirrels myself
In gravy
I read somewhere that the spiced flour they use for KFC was orginally a recipe for Squirrels, and in the Southern States the Good 'ol boys always had some handy!
I love many animals in this way :D
I love that seventh squirrel: "Hey, what are all you guys doing here dead? Hmmm? Nothing? Okay, I'm gonna get a bite to eat." On his way down, his last thought was probably, "Oh! Now I get it!"
"Another squirrel has come down to the feeder to chew on my nuts." Well said, Robin. Great video.
Thanks for watching. Glad you liked it.
As soon as he said that I had to go to the comments to see if anyone would mention it 😂
@@nikolasgrn Same here... Lmbo!! Great shoot and video!!! Enjoyed this
😂
Lol literally just about to comment on that😂
You and some other up loaders who carry their culling professionally certainly do the countryside and other creatures a massive service.
Thanks Jeff. Not everyone gets it.
@@TeamFoxer I wish you could be allowed to sort out our local Bruntwood Park in Cheadle Hulme as the greys in here are a real pest. They are so emboldened that they screech at and attack small children with food in their hands if they are left unattended. My Jack Russel has shredded a good few in his time but he is getting a bit slow with age now. It used to be so peaceful and sedentary in the park before this pest started breeding out of control.
MrDegsy69 pass my details to the council. I can sort it.👍🦊
aesthetically a disservice,
Agree seen so meny none humain hunting on here
Always a good day when all the shots hit home and none missed.
Darren Webb indeed. No excuse for missing really. Unless the animal moves the second you pull the trigger. However if your patient enough you’ll know when the time is right.
Robin, being from the USA, I didn’t realize airgunning was so sophisticated. Thanks to you, I’m planning on acquiring a quality kit. You’re an awesome shooter as well.
Thanks for the compliment, and thanks for watching too. All the best.
Bobby Brady I have a 22 LR, and a boatload of other weapons. I want a pellet rifle as well. Because I live in the USA is exactly why I want one....because I can.
The grey is one of the most destructive pest if you have a lawn, and a garden. It’s a major nuisance here In Maryland. Worst, when your neighbors are feeding them.
Great with biscuits and gravy
I hold you responsible, after 30 years of using shotgun and rifle, I have bought a new air rifle, PCP and the wife said “HOW MUCH" so I mumbled the price again and now I’m decorating the spare room, but it’s worth it😂😂😂😂
I actually laughed out loud at this. Brilliant.
You got off pretty good, usually it's a trip to the jeweler for me!!
You need a new wife,,LOL :)
There's only one good way to handle it when the wife asks how something in your hobby costs, "LIE! Firmly and convincingly!" Not that I'd do that, but I've heard that's how it should be handled.
The simple response...."I make the money in this house, now wheres my pillow and blanket so I can sleep on the sofa"
I live in New York state in the USA. My immediate neighborhood is overrun with Squirrels. They can be quite destructive. Last year, they ate my flowers, chewed my lead in wire for the cable TV, the windshield wipers on my truck, and also the propane gas line for my BBQ grill. So, I broke out my old pellet rifle, (.177) put a decent scope on it and went to war. In 3 months I killed 86 Squirrels. Average distance 35 feet. My best shot was about 75 feet as he sat on top of a telephone pole. Nice video. Subscribed. Thank you.
Welcome aboard. Hopefully I’ll have another squirrel video up later today.
It's amazing how successful that species of squirrel has been. They are very very common in the United States in rural areas, suburban areas and metropolitan areas. They are a perfectly designed animal.
Same up here in Canada. Black squirrel is most common about 95% of the time, Then you get the odd grey squirrel. Never seen a red squirrel though. There's a city called Oshawa small city North East of Toronto which is a major metropolis. There's literally squirrels everywhere in Oshawa. I counted about 6-8 in the front lawn of 4 houses. Jokingly amongst friends we've renamed that city "Squirrel town".
glad your giving are reds a helping hand keep up the good work
Good god, squirrels are dumb, huh?
“Hay! Look at all those bodies spread out on the ground...this place is crazy! Maybe I should be caref........is that food?”
Yes believe me they are I've killed one before
You remind me of SpongeBob and Patrick mocking Sandy
Just so many of them interacting with each other that they are literally numb to watching out for other dangers, one of the many weaknesses introduced by overpopulation.
"OOOh, I better be quiet. Those guys are sleeping"
Do you eat them????
I live in the US and have shot lots of gray squirrels without ever using a "hide" (or "blind" as we call them here.) Every squirrel I ever shot had seen me, but they just didn't care. I used a .22 rimfire rifle with open sights and the average distance was about 20 yards. I always ate them too! They're good to eat and people have been doing that in the US for centuries!
Thank you for sharing. Nice shooting indeed!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They are huge, some meat on those guys, well done Robin, not enough people doing this!
Bobby Thompson yeah they were surprisingly heavy some of the things. I took a photo of the biggest one it’s on the credits at the very end of the video. It was a huge female. As big as my flask.
I’m from across the pond, and I’ve got a squirrel problem. After watching your video, good riddance to the varmints!! Love your gun and technique 👍😀many thanks
"...another squirrel came down the tree to have a chew on my nutts."
BWWWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Excellent shooting! Thank you for sharing.
Great job mate, keep on fighting the good fight.
Brilliant mate! You done well...and should be very happy with Nine...Over on this side of the pond, in my back Forty, I'm having a great day if I get Three...It seems that after I get the first one, the others smell danger and stay away... Bollocks!
Cheers, Mark
PS: The pallet hide looks very comfy!
After watching several times it’s still a GREAT shoot!
Great video.
Excellent photography - and shooting.
Thank you.
"...the good lady fox wishes to go shopping...I bloody hate shopping!"LOL 😂
Your little foxer friend is a cutie. It's good to see Dad's spending quality time with their kids. Also, what was the liquid you mixed with your tea?
I would have stayed for tenth and got a bollocking 😂
Good shooting and filming
Richard Knopik you ain’t met Mrs Foxer!
@@TeamFoxer Sorry Robin, BUT around here the rooster rules the roost ;-)
MrGordy61 well after 11 years I’ve learned that it pays to keep this particular vixen happy.
Mine an all, but mine dont let me go shoppin any more as I made such a pigs ear of it (on purpose), she go's on her own. @@TeamFoxer
Whats tenth (second?) and what's a bollocking
Very good 👍
Hi, I enjoyed the shoot, thank you for taking the time to put this together. Greetings from Montreal, Canada
Hello there. Canada 🇨🇦 is on my bucket list.
Good show, cheers from Alabama USA
10.38 This one "Julie" obliges You know your quarry so well Robin! you can identify individuals by name 😂
A perfect day out well done mate great vid as always thanks
Mark Sharp thanks Mr Sharp.
Just text the good lady that your waiting for double digit body count. And get the pan ready for some squirrel stew.
I've NEVER had a squirrel chew on my Nuts...congrats Robin. 😉
Liked and already Subscribed. 👍
Cheers 🙏
All the excitement of a big game hunt, I use a 22 but have been looking at the air rifles, thanks.
An excellent video Robin, nine squirrels, well done.
Geoff.
I'm sure you already know this trick for baiting, run a 3" drywall screw up into the platform where the squirrels are sitting on while eating and put an ear of corn on the screw. They will sit and eat the corn off the cob and you don't have to worry about shooting the glass jar.
Mr Kanook I’d not seen that no. It is something to consider for the future thanks.
Can confirm this is an excellent strategy. The fuzzy little nuisances seem to love corn and it attracts them in droves.
I deer hunt on a farm, and have seen grey squirrels lug an entire ear of corn from the field to their nest some 20 feet up a tree. The smaller squirrels will pack their mouths full of kernels, climb to their nests to unload, then back down to fill their mouths with corn again. Squirrel season ends when deer season starts, so I don't shoot them. I really want to though.
@@mechredd if you ever give it a go make sure you shoot them squirrels with your deer rifle
@@aleckrug1554 I've thought about it. I don't know if the bullet will pass right through leaving a small hole, or make the squirrel explode.
I really enjoyed this video. I am an American hunter. I like your method of getting those squirrels. I may try the air rifle approach myself. These animals are good to eat. I have liked your video and subscribed. Thank you sir.
Thanks for the Sub. All the very best from this side of the pond.
You are a great shot!
Needed a good video tonight and I found this.
Whew! I feel better!
Thanks for posting!
Bloody hate shopping😀
Ray Geary unless it’s for gun stuff or cars.
That was best look😂😂😂👍👍
@@TeamFoxer yep always in leicester air gun shop need bigger store🤔
Ray Geary ha ha nice one. Not a million miles away then.
squirrel and dumplings for dinner.
Another great video, Robin. Good patience. Sometimes it is as important to know when not to take a shot as to take one.
"I hate shopping!" 😂
kelticpaddler I’ve been there agin this last week. I’m currently editing the footage together. It should be fingers crossed 🤞 a good watch as I’ve got scope cam footage this time round, plus a camera next to the feeder.
I use a pheasant feeder for squirrels. Holds 25kg of grain. Don't have to regularly check the levels. Plenty of grain for wild birds/small rodents to eat during winter. Plus ensures safe ground back stop.
Great shooting and fantastic footage Robin
remskicodhead1 thank you, and thanks for watching.
I agree with Richard. I would definitely have stayed until i got 10. What's a bloody row? A dozen excuses would spring to my mind at least. Lol
Woods and gardens are infested with these pests to the detriment of other wildlife, so good job with getting their numbers reduced. Cracking shooting, keep it coming Robin
The whole experience looks great fun. Keep it up you legend!
Ben Simpson I keep trying to tell the Mrs that. Cheers.
Robin, Jim here from the U.S. Your videos are great. Just broke out my Falcon raptor after 12 years of storage. 2 crows, 3 greys & counting. .22 cal & 50 m.m. Simmons
Falcons are fantastic rifles. Go get em!!
I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU ARE KILLING SQUIRREL! and not showing us how to deep fry the leg quarters.
I like it best sloooooooow cooked in butter with a tiny bit of cinnomin. Let me stress the amount of cinnomin. It's like one shake from the can would be to too much. A tiny bit. Less is more. Too much, and it's ruined. Salt and pepper . Let it cook until the meat is falling off the bone. -That's best.
Make sure you cut the glands out of the front armpit area. Otherwise the meat won’t taste very good.
A guy that worked for me his dad would make squirrel gravy on biskits ,it was really good.
Well done Lad.
Cheers Mike.
I almost spit out my coffee when he said another squirrel came down to chew my nuts ROFL
Thought I’d would get a couple of giggles that.
best squirrel is the ones deep fried in gravy with biscuits
Grew up on a family recipe for squirrel and dumplings. Miss those feeds just watch out for the shot.
Yuck! Tree rats...
Squirrels = rats with fluffy tails.........
Tree Rats
i cant like this enough
@Eye Ore worst
I have eaten both...squirrels are definitely more tasty than a rat.
squirrel hunters = rats without fur equipped with small penis
Good job 👍
Thanks mate.
😮...Soooooo much good eatin' there...👍🏼💯✔
That shopping look is the best😂😂😂😂😂😂 keep it up man👍👍
The Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) gestation is 44 days/6.28 weeks. Can start reproducing at age 10-12 months. I have put forth a valiant effort to eradicate the varmint from the farm and have come to the conclusion that it is best to buy your top shelf ammunition in sufficient lots because you're going to be here a while.
Thank you Robin for the great footage and effort. Always looking forward to your next production.
P. S. Love the 90's porn music
I love what you are doing...love watching...keep doing what you are doing. CHEERS
Thanks mate. I will certainly try. In fact I went out yesterday with a mate to top up the feeder. Give it another month and it’ll be ready to shoot again. So stay tunned for that. In the mean time today I posted a new video with a chance to win an Olight torch.
Squirrels are angels of the forest I love them dearly and hate anybody who hurts them
Cookoo cookoo
G'Mate from Australia. Jealous as hell watching you shoot. Good score nine. I havent been hunting (rabbits) since I was 16 (67 now). Looks like my type of sport (energy wise)... sit there and let the victiums come to with in your range.
Works for deer also on this side of pond and legal
Keep the squirrel hunting coming love these videos
Uddershock thanks. Those videos will slow down over the summer. But will be back for sure. I love a bit of squirrel bashing.
Very cool man! Thanks! Excellent shooting n filming!
Leafyr Oakfyst thank you. I think the last squirrel video was better myself as I had scope
Cam footage. Let me know what you thank.
Great video m8y thanks for sharing!👍
My pleasure. Thanks for watching.
NICE SHOOTING
Donald Scott thanks for watching.
Outstanding marksmanship sir. I REALLY enjoy your videos and I'm wondering if you have considered getting a camera that records in much higher speeds so that you could actually see the flight of the pellet and the perfect moment of impact?
Always look forward to your videos.excellent work 👍
d m thanks for tuning in and watching.
I never, ever, dreamed I would be so fortunate to watch Marty Feldman shooting Squirrels , wearing a Burka !!!
Ok, so it's not just me. Bahahaha
Great shooting i like the way you kill them instantly.
Thanks for watching. I don’t shoot anything live to do any other. I mean, it happen every now and then where you unintentionally wound something. But as quick and as safe as it is possible to do so. I’ll follow it up with a second shot.
Great video as always Rob, are you going to film the shoot in Yorkshire?
Springer spaniel no mate. This was filmed a few weeks ago in December. The game shooting is for me to enjoy. Not ever saying I won’t film one of them but the time being that’s just for me to enjoy. I shot my first Woodcock last weekend and got a left and right. Would have been good to get that on film!
Very professional thanks for posting.
Great stuff! As Robert Klein noted - these things are nothing more than "rats with good PR" - vermin!
Let the squirrels hit the floor, let the squirrels hit the floor, let the squirrels hit the flooooooooor. I've downed 36 of these grey vermin pests over the last three weeks on a new perm.
Tidy shooting there fella. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍 Next time forgo the shopping & get that tenth 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Dude this video was highly entertaining!
I guess I really don't like squirrels cuz this was hilarious!
Pop one for "Girly" next time!
Sometimes the CZcams algorithm turns up 👍
Ratting. The sport of true Kings.
At 12:55 of this video I learned just how childish my humor can still be. Couldn't help but have a laugh.
I love his commentary 💯
Thanks for watching.
Hello Robin, superb footage!! In the area you are shooting we see that there only grey squirrels come to the feeder. All the red squirrels are already gone? Greatings from Holland!
dirk doenvan v. I’ve seen a red one since I went to Scotland. Sadly aren’t any around here.
@@TeamFoxer The highest population in the UK for red squirrels is the Isle of Wight. They have no grey squirrels there. If one is sighted they are quickly dispatched. I was lucky to live there for 20 years and hand fed red squirrels at the back door of our house.
Josh Frank we don’t have any red anywhere near here, and neither would I. Allow feeding in my back yard that is. This feeder is on the farm a good mile up the road.
Josh Frank reds are protected by law here in the UK. ThTs probably why. Not sure about any other European country.
Josh, as Robin states Red Squirrels are protected in the UK. They are true species which are indigenous to the UK. Grey squirrels are not actually squirrels, they are American tree rats that are classed as vermin. Reds do not cause any destruction to trees or wildlife and are healthy creatures that carry no disease. The same cannot be said for greys, they cost the UK economy millions every year in damage to trees by ring barking.
love the slow motion replays!!
david atfus thanks. Glad you liked them. Thanks for watching.
Brilliant stuff as always, that hide is spot on
they not real smart animals, youd think they seeing their brothers dead on the ground, theyll think its not safe to be there lol
Just started watch your vids.
Squirrel feeder make a big wooden hopper I’ve got a few about which hold 20kg of wheat. £7 a bag much cheaper than nuts and they love it and it will last a month. So no popping out to permissions if you have no time. Daz
Airgunhunter 1966 good idea. I’ve seen some much bigger ones. I don’t want to make it massive though.
Robin Foxer or longer and tall and I paint mine with brown fence paint. A bit of protection and they blend in well with the tree. I’ve got a small feeder that holds 10kg of wheat in my step dads garden. It blends in very well. Have a google and play building then. Daz
Great relaxing video!
Well done mate
Thanks, and thanks for watching.
Another fine video Robin. I think you did the right thing going back for the misses. You might have had more than your nuts chewed ! more like crushed . PS buy her some flowers too. Your more likely to get away with spending money on guns ETC. LOL
andy b I really can’t complain. She hardly ever stops me going out. Plus at the mo while I’m laid up she’s been a cracking nurse.
@@TeamFoxer Sorry I totally forgot to ask you how it went .been there too! You should have had her in the video & put some fun into it too .Nurse bringing you your tea & medication out in the field LOL

NICE 👍
That was a good haul.
I may have to go back again soon. The feed is rapidly going.
great shooting
excellent!
Really enjoy watching your squirrel hunting video.
Love your work. Well done
Thank you very much.
I love our cousins across the pond. Only the British take a tea break on a hunt. Good stuff mate!
I even take a T break when foxing lol.
@@TeamFoxer lol love it. I have a friend that is originally from Scotland and when we first met we would go out to eat he would literally get disgusted when I drank our Southern Iced Sweet Tea! He said tea should only be hot. Subbed your channel going through your videos now they are enjoyable. In the south we use 20 gauge shot gun on squirrel and 22 LR or shorts if in the backyard. Keep up the quality work.
Cracking show. You are great shot.
As you mentioned pallets, I was thinking what the hell did we do before pallets!! My mate built a fantastic hide out of them, insulated and cosy!
Awesome video Robin, quality setup and it paid-off. R
Thanks mate. I shot the same place a couple of days ago and am currently editing the footage. Stick around as this ones got some great camera footage as well as a scope view this time.
@@TeamFoxer That's what I'm looking forward-to. 👍🏻

Good wife. Cheers!
You stacked them up like cord wood!!!! Lol
pokeypeter I did my best. Not missing one put me in a good mood.
Wow dem Squirrels can pop better than Geoff Daniels.
I watch these videos and when they start freaking out over their dead buddies I have to laugh. Steve Martin in the gas station scene with the oil cans in “The Jerk” always comes to mind. “THERES SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CANS.........HE HATES THE CANS.......” 🤪😁🤓
