Thank you, I just converted my favorite lamps and wired them in direct on our boat. They work beautifully.
Thanks for sharing. I was not aware that they made 12VDC builds. I have several lamps that I am going to convert for my motorhome.
Well done. I will now convert two outdoor fixtures that will live atop entrance pillars. 😎
Great video however, it’s like watching Mr. Rogers
Woof! That shaggy rug/door alarm on the sofa moved its head! ; )
Cudos
Clear instructions for conversion. THANKS
i know this is 5 years old but thanks, it’s just what i needed. but i’m wondering, can you use xT60 connectors to join the lamp cord to the cigarette lighter plug? seems like it would make a cleaner connection? also, doesn’t the lamp cord indicate which lead is positive? thanks for your help and advice.
good job! nice and clear. i know what to do now for my next boondocking project :)
PowerPole connectors would be a MUCH better choice for making the connections.
Thank you, very helpful!
How much draw for 60 watt buld? I wish to install 2 coach lanterns on my entrance gate pillars with a photo eye on dual batteries chargred by solar panel. They will be on approx. 8 hrs. a night in the summer, and 12 hrs in the winter. Long winter nights in Cagary.
simple but cool way to do it. well done. Very good looking dog.
Thanks so much for this video! I'm just wondering if this can be done with a flush mount as well?
Thats a lamp conversion. Not a bulb conversion from ac to dc.
Not so cool. For god sake do this video again in a place with more light. Also bring the camera close.
