Festival of the Bluegrass 1982 - Lewis Family performance from Sunday, June 13, 1982.

This performance is classic Lewis Family, the first family of bluegrass gospel. Heavily featured is 10 year old Lewis Phillips, Pop Lewis, Wallace Lewis, Travis Lewis, Little Roy Lewis, Polly Lewis, Miggie Lewis, and Janice Phillips. This was the final set of the festival that year, closing out the traditional Sunday gospel program. Be sure to watch for Roy "Pop" Lewis loving the warm reception after his encore tune. This is from amateur video found in the collection of Bob and Jean Cornett, founders of the Festival of the Bluegrass.
