Hey gunnr I’m not sure if you saw my comment on the last video and I’m not tryna spam but would you possibly make a video on how to get your vocals to better sit in the mix and how you do it. Also wondering what vocal level you record at and do you always normalize after?

#1.
To make ur vocal sit in the mix, ur beat have to be properly made then u just have to properly eq n compress ur vocal.
2. U can record ur vocal at any level but I'd be ideal to not peak. Don't pass 6 db
3. Never normalize vocals if ur gonna use them for a song
@@Rck-vert yeah I usually record with my vocals peaking at around -10 db and it sounds alright, just don’t think it’s the best. And I can mix decently. Also have a few gunnr presets. But I notice a lot of people normalize their recordings right after wards. If you watch babysantanas live where he makes 4 songs he normalizes everts single recording.
