Even the car setups, they were easy to understand and adjust. I could easily feel the difference after changing setups.
Yes, but I like the setup wing system from F1 22 better then F1 2020.
setups are broken in every F1 game and honestly are in most sims. F1 22 is worse than F1 2020 though except for the wings, that was a nice change to have. the setups in both games have logic to it when you start to understand it but the logic is not realistic, making the setups look ridiculous compared to real life

Great vid bud! For me the worst thing is that f121 was also great it carried over good things and had the story mode But the fall from that to f122 is shocking
F1 2021 was a little bit glitchy for me but it plays so much better than f1 22
The F1 23 Game will have a story mode again. But I just hope that the traction will not be this sh!t like it is in F1 22. And of course less glitches would be great also.
I believe the most important thing they need to change for F1 23 are the amount of glitches. After that I would love to have an amazing story mode that also brings new people to the game.

Been playing F1 2020 the last few weeks again because I don’t have F1 23, and I’ve just been doing time trial with the classic cars on Xbox and managed to get 1st fastest at 3 circuits and in the top 5 at most others, and it’s just so much fun. Amazing game. Great video too!
F1 2019 is the best one imo! Playing career mode till this day
Yea for me F1 2019 is a close second I think. The only big difference for me is myteam which was great for the game and it made a lot of new players come to the F1 game.

I only buy F1 games once every 5 years or so, because it’s basically the same game every year, glad I bought 2020 out of all the rest of them by chance.
It really is a good game for the most part. And happy I never had to experience all the other codemasters bs.
Yeah it is the same at it's core, but a lot changes over the course of 5 years. But I understand it, because they are quite expensive to buy every year.

To be fair im not the most dedicated F1 fan either, morr of just a general motorsports fan, so one year I may buy NASCAR, one year WRC, the next F1 etc. Plus I'm middle aged so the time I have to dedicate to games in minimal. Its just a waste to buy every new game every year, realistically I'd never even scratch the surface of most titles if i bought many more then I already do.

I loved this game so much. I used to play it with the joystick and then the g29 and it's impressive how I had a massive handling on the cars with both g29 and joystick. I don't know but they told that for F1 23 they used, I think, the same steering model of the 2020 game, with the Power Steering feature. I'm playing F1 23 since like September 2023 and it's incredible how they took a 3 years old model and used it for a new game. I hope F1 24 would be amazing, and I still wish the classic cars and all of the classic tracks and possible layout combinations

F1 2020 is the best F1 game that i played. 2021 was a bit worse, but still a really enjoyable game, but 22, i just can't play, EA completely destroyed this game series

Yea I also remember that, but it's very logical, people want a better game every year. F1 2020 wasn't a gigantic improvement from F1 2019 in the handling, so at the time it was sightly disappointing for some people. The game's after F1 2020 weren't much better or way worse.

2020 is still the best of Codemasters / EA games. But when you load up Assetto Corsa Championship mods from Racedepartment you'll never want to play these games again. How do I know? It happened to me. AC is light years ahead as a F1 sim. Totally different experience.

AI was very inconsistent around the circuits. 110 AI at Zandvoort and Singapore were very very weak
@@F1Bat What the other guy said and also when you got to like s5 or s6 (i liked to play 8 or 9 seasons every time) no team would accept you because you costed too much from the acclaim. You had to like hip-hop from Williams to Red Bull to Hass, like whichever one could let you in. Very much a late game issue, but other than that the game was possibly the best F1 game out there

As a longtime diehard fan of Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, i am fell in love so much with F1 2020. Sadly, this is also the LAST EVER F1 game to feature classic cars.

They removed classic cars because of licence problems or the teams didn't want it because the sponsor in that time is not associated with the team
If so, why don't they expend their license and just do the same as in F1 2020, which was putting some classic cars behind a paywall.

All the hate with f1 22; I don't personally have an issue with it. My style of driving suits more under-steery cars (like the 2022 cars are; but don't get me wrong I can still adapt to Oversteery cars *cough* W12 *cough* ) and the AI being challenging gives me a run for my money most of the time. It isn't like the old 21 or 20 AI where you could set them at 70+ and get Pole by half a second with a Haas. In F1 22, you actually have to WORK for your performance, because even AI in the 60-70 range will curbstomp you if you make even a slight mistake or error in timing. You have to be spot-on, or close to it, if you want to keep your pace and the guy behind you, behind you. Just tonight, I was at Saudi in the McLaren (they had a serious glow up towards the end of my rookie year with AT and I jumped on the chance for a seat. Paid off big time) and was dueling Hamilton for pole, for most of all 3 qualies, and then come the race my gearbox had issues. I had to defend my 3rd place against a HARD charging Lewis for 12 laps before the race finally ended (Lando took 2nd). F1 21, however, had muuuuch better handling with TC off. F1 22 TC off feels way too slippery, even some current drivers have pointed it out. Overall, I think F1 22 is arguably one of the best F1 games in current years, but it does have its downsides. Also, F1 Life can go die in a pit.
yes I understand, but there are a lot of things F1 22 has done worse then older games. For example the amount of glitches aren't okay.
EA knows they will never make a game that's as good as F1 2020 so they have to delete it.

I don't fully agree with you, I have never spun on a curbstone on F1 2020 while I have used them a lot. Also I haven't played F1 2019 that much so I am not sure if it is better or not.
Classic cars are a huge selling point for me as well, removing the classic cars caused me to not buy any of the new games lol. They should have added even more classic cars from the 80s and 70s to flesh the game out, but instead, we got microtransactions and supercars that NO ONE wanted. Cutting good base game content to make way for monetization schemes is so slimy, I was remaining open-minded about the EA acquisition and gave '22 a chance but it was so clear right from the jump that F1 had become another shitty EA sports game that prioritizes microtransactions over everything. Until they fix it I will happily drive my Jordan 191 and Brawn GP around the Hanoi circuit lol.
Yea I'm actually curious for a real reason they deleted classic cars. The only microtransactions that are in the game I believe are the pitcoins system, which already was in F1 2020. And the supercars are also not my favourite.

I am not sure, I haven't played F1 2011 or F1 2014 myself, but maybe it is because of the colors used in the game. The colors look very bland in my opinion.
Tbf, F1 2014 has various mods, like the 2023 mod or some classic seasons. So I guess it makes sense

idk guys but for me 21 is by far the worst game since there was a bug that let u slide in corners where u cant slide normally. It was because u got a bug where u gained unlimited hp in the corner and ur car begins to slide obv.

After hard debates with myself, F1 2020 won over 21 and 22. 2020 has classic cars, F2, My team and normal career. 21 and 22 were downgrades in regards to content. Despite missing a few tracks, F1 2020 should satisfy you until EA decides to be a game company again. You still get Vietnam and China
Yea F1 2021 was also great, but just a little worse, and F1 22 was a whole other thing. I really hope F1 23 is something like f1 2020 with a great big new thing.

Things F1 game has issue for 19 20 21 22
For controller wheel so slow to move right to left left to right.
Theres had long delay wheel to move on controller its slower then you move controller analoge stick left to right.
This makes huge issue you cant really catch oversteer caused on lower gears or wet youd better use flashback.
You can downshift to catch but you loose.pace a lot then wheel.
F1 23 made huge improvement adding steering rate you can adjust wheel steering speed on controller
And....be honest fuxk Hanoi its reason i dont comeback to 2020 id rather drive las vegas then that horrendous track.
Still not CMs fault they had to make it but glad its.removed in 21 and never cameback

21 was better in gameplay and AI especially, the removal of classic cars is okay, I could live with it at least with the already decent gameplay. My issue with 20 was that the car just had too much grip, a bit too easy. (well, if you're in the Merc it's true but other cars? Not so much). 22 is trash in every way, racing is not enjoyable and driving feels like you're in a car that has no rear wing at all, plus the useless sofas and supercars.
yea 21's ai was also much better, but overall I enjoyed F 2020 much more.

Personally I don't feel the same about the drivability, but I will check out F1 2019 again probably. Also I liked F1 2020 mostly, because of the introduction of myteam.
