    gimbal was still only 2 axis since it was locked of straight. It did not pan. It could have. Just a setting on the gimbal was wrong.

    why I is your voice only coming out of my left speaker?

      Because I had my Rode videomic ntg set to -20 db on the right channel. It was late and I was very tired when I edited the video, wanted to have it up by next morning and didn’t notice it… And because I’m a rookie 😔

    Thanks for taking the time to do this review, I'm excited to get mine. On order. Did you turn off imagestablizition on the camera?

    • @sharpfocused5710
      @sharpfocused5710  Před 3 lety +1

      You’re welcome! I did indeed, SteadyShot was turned off. I’ve noticed for wider focal lengths you don’t have to because the tiny shake caused by IBIS trying to compensate the slider is not obvious. But for narrower focal lengths (50mm upwards) I recommend turning IBIS off 😉

    Hi, I am in the decision stage for iFootage Shark Slider Nano. I also have sony a7 iii + 24-70 2.8 and 85mm 1.4 . I have heavy objectives. I've read that heavy equipment is more difficult to use. Did you use stability in this video? How are the raw images? What is the last tripod you used? Thank you..

    • @sharpfocused5710
      @sharpfocused5710  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi. It would work great for A7lll with those lenses flat on a desk and even horizontal on a tripod. Vertically though you’ll need a lighter setup. Raw footage is great with wide lenses, for tighter ones like your 85mm you’ll need to stabilise in post, easy to do. For tripod Ive used a cheap K&F Concept and no stabiliser used in edit. I don’t regret buying it and I recommend 💯 %

    Hi, great video, what is the Gimbal model name and any idea if there is any Gimbal which would be able to connect to slider and operate from one application?

    • @sharpfocused5710
      @sharpfocused5710  Před 3 lety

      Hi. The gimbal is the Zhyiun WeebillS but there’s no app to control this slider with the WeebillS simultaneously. If that’s what you need then you want the YC Onion slider, similar price. Here’s a video on that one: czcams.com/video/nNKQEbO-fEs/video.html

      @@sharpfocused5710 Thank you for your response, I've seen that one. I like Shark nano for its motorized pan head. On slider with gimbal combination I guess motorized pan head on slider is not needed.

    Hello.. so how was the footage when you added the gimbal with the tilt up and down axis?? you showed the movement but not the footage.. I've ordered the slider, but thinking about whether to get the gimbal as well for the 3rd axis.

    • @sharpfocused5710
      @sharpfocused5710  Před 2 lety

      Hi. Unfortunately I've deleted a lot of footage off of my ssd's to make space including most footage from that video but I remember that 20 sec clip and I can assure you it was a smooth diagonal slide motion. if you want to buy the WeebillS, which I totally recommend as a light gimbal (especially now at lower price since Weebill 2 is out) I hope its not just to achieve this diagonal slide because you can get so much more use out of a gimbal. For the sole purpose of replicating that sliding motion its not really worth it, my opinion (cost+learning curve). I hope my reply helps your decision and I apologise again for not including or even keeping that clip ✌
