  • A trip to Cuba had to include a visit to Viñales Valley to see how Cuban cigars are really made. This was just one stop in Cuba in support of the Cuban people. More places to come later this week.
I am just one person looking to travel the world one country at a time, one flight at a time one holiday at a time. I will show you the places I traveled, the restaurants I have dined in, all the popular tourist destinations as well as some local hidden gems. I am just beginning my travel journey so Subscribe, comment and Share, there is so much to see.

How awesome is this! This is the exact place I went to a few years back, I remember the honey and the lemonade with Rum, I brought back 120 cigars but smoked them all, that was the start of my cigar obsession. I wish I knew then what I know now, I would have let them sit in my humidor for a few years. :( One day I'll go back.

DO NOT STORE CIGARS IN A REFRIGERATOR! I heard what the salesman said about that. Please, ignore that piece of "advice." It would be better to keep them in a Tupperware container with a small container of distilled water. Of course, the best is a humidor with humidification, but most tourists who buy cigars aren't aficionados. A refrigerator will ruin your lovely stogies with too much light, humidity and too low temperature.

@@joeface448he way Americans smoke cigars is weird. Too much hassle. Turned something beautifully simple into something convoluted. I just saw a video of some guy using a pronged device to measure the humidity of his cigar. Just why?
Btw dipping cigar in honey is how they’ve been smoked forever in LATAM. Che Guevara used to do the same. It’s coats your throat and protects it.
Edit: That pronged device was a moisture meter and said guy was poking and assaulting that poor cigar. SMH. Y’all are weird.
