I believe there wont be true peace in Ireland until those of us who lived through the troubles are in our graves. I truly wish it wasn't so. I think those scars run too deep on both sides of the so-called divide.

Bobby Sands, Brendan Hughes, Francis Hughes - all brave fighters, all in their graves and there is no peace in Ireland. Nothing has changed. The brave men and women from that era must never be forgotten. Don't be in a hurry to move on.

On the contrary, the Troubles served certain purposes eg supporting the rise of the security state, think how cctv and anpr cameras were justified…

Colonialism has caused so much bitterness and Hatred throughout the World, and the Irish People certainly got more than their share of hardship.
