I have a question. When Zerg players are maxed out and have a huge mineral bank, why dont they use all their drones for 10 sec to build creep colonies then cancel so they can get a entire extra number of army above supply limit?

Agreed. I wish he would have gotten Air upgrades. In this situation, late game, Scouts are also great for drone and overlord hunting. That's mind of the irony of the Scout, though. They're the best air to air fighter in the game, so no one ever makes big Air Forces against Protoss, because the threat of the Scout looms so large.
I'll never understand why pro players like Jaedong absolutely refuse to drop when in a deadlock situation like this
that's why he's pretty unique. Fight till death.
@@Bounoppera11994 I mean doing a doom drop with overlords on the back side of a base, instead of running the gauntlet with lings and hydras
@@cyberlemmingasaservice7740 I juts commented the same thing! If he would have started dropping at the 35 min mark it would have been a win. It's frustrating to watch pros completely stop playing well in the late game.
Cuz the drop is gonna be a meatgrinder under storm. Overlords are not fast enough
@@user-nv1qp4jr7p there were definitely points in the match where he could have put some pressure on the front of the choke point and snuck in the back. Considering that it was a meat grinder trying to go through the front over and over it would've been worth a shot. Especially when he had that expo up. Oh well. 🤷♂️

I enjoy long games of not knowing who will win, and the more players involved, the better, like ffa pros be awesome or 1v 7 noobs. maybe if there's a mod for sc1 that spawns zombie owned cloned units on death like imba league sc2 but for sc1 be real fun.

@@austindenko3575 the gameplay itself was great, but some of the strategic decisions were questionable... Of course that's easy to say while watching a replay and having vision on both sides

May anyone explain why spawn broodling does not work on archons/reavers, but mechanical terran units?
The spell needs a living thing to infest. Reavers are robots and archons are beings of pure psionic energy.

I don't think this deserves the epic tag. Last 20 min was an unnecessary stalemate. I don't think ventral sacs were researched at all. IF Jaedong would have started drops anywhere from the 35-40 min mark he would have won. Instead he insisted on attacking a heavily fortified position over and over and blew his money on queens. ON the other side, Ruin had a number of good storm and reaver drops, then gave up on drops at that same 35 min mark. He could have kept up with the drops and ended the game faster too.
