I'm currently thinking about deciding on my next action camera so that I can make videos that everyone can enjoy :)
    Thinking about my next choice.#insta360x4 #insta360go3s #djiosmoaction4

Tanuki are famous for the Ghibli movie "Pom Poko," but there are also stories about tanuki in several Japanese folk tales. "Bunbuku Chagama" is another tale about tanuki.
    * Chagama is a tea kettle.
"Bunbuku Chagama" is a fairy tale told throughout Japan. The story goes something like this:
Morinji Temple in Tatebayashi, Ueno Province. One day, the head priest of Morinji Temple, whose hobby is the tea ceremony, buys a tea kettle and brings it back to the temple. The tea kettle grows a head, tail, and legs while the priest is dozing off, and is discovered by the young monks, causing a commotion. At first, the priest doesn't believe the story, but when he places the tea kettle on the stove to boil water, a raccoon dog, unable to bear the heat, finally reveals its true form to the priest. The surprised priest sells the strange kettle to a junk dealer.
That night, the raccoon dog, tired of being treated badly at the temple, reveals its strange form to the junk dealer, introduces itself as "Bunbuku Chagama," a tea kettle transformed into a raccoon dog, and asks the junk dealer to treat it with care, as he will be performing acrobatics and dancing in front of the public. The tightrope walking performance set to Chagama Dayu's music became popular and became a spectacle that drew large crowds, helping the junk shop flourish.
Later, the tanuki was unable to return to its original form and fell ill and died, but the Morinji Temple took the tanuki in, had it memorialized, and placed the tea kettle in the temple's collection as a treasure - this is how the story ends (there are various theories about the ending). The tea kettle in the temple's collection is open to the public for a fee.
