I lost my mom 4 months ago and my grandma 3 months ago... my faith has never been greater and I am getting my tickets in Glendale, AZ because the words that has come form all the sermons have lead me to be prapare for death and for life!!!! I just felt like god told me to tell people that they are not alone in the struggle to deal with death. For we will see them in heaven for eternity!! Life is short and enjoy every moment of it. I was watching at 9am but stoped watching because this church group call amazing faith had one of their group preaching out in the park. I’m watching now and I’m here now to get another dose God. I start my new job tomorrow and I’m praying for guidance and I know that there’s a message in this word for me. God has done so much for me, despite the rocks that been thrown at me. I rejoice in God. I am loving my that everyday I feel like I am doing and serving those that God wants me to serve. I went from teaching in ward 7 in dc to tomorrow teaching in ward 8. Both wards are considered highly dangerous but I know God wants me to show up in the community representing the love that he’s poured on my life. God is doing wonderfully things in my heart. I have no money, my rent is due but I have this incredible amount of peace in my soul. I feel like I’m working in the purpose God wants me to be working in. For the last few months whenever my anxiety and depression kicks in I go to the other services and short clips. I rejoice in how much God has loved me that whenever I have invasive thoughts my CZcams algorithm brings up your message pastor. Thank you for sharing your gift. Thank you for allowing God to speak to me through you and your wife and other pastors. The impact is real.

I love what he said about four chords. As a writer I sometimes doubt my ability to tell a compelling Christ centered story. Thank God it's not about the prose or the chords but about the power of His Spirit!
I loved your example of how you only used 4 chords. Once again, I was listening to the podcast while I was driving. I loved joining you as you lead the congregation in singing. Here I am driving in rush hour traffic in Atlanta, GA when I began to hear "here I am to worship." The peace and power of God filled my car. You are a powerful preacher and teacher but you are still a powerful worship leader. A worship leader that can lead someone into the presence of the Lord!! Blessings to you!! I listen to Pastor Steven Furtick because he is on fire when he speaks. He feels it and he transmits his energy and passion to all that hear. It definitely gets my attention. I did a Beth Moore Bible study on David. When I hear Pastor Steven Furtick I think those words in that study, a heart like HIS.

@Pastor Steven, I have listened to this message at least a half a dozen times. What a powerful message, but something spoke volumes to me in this message and continues to resonate each time I hear it. Over a decade ago I went through an ugly divorce and custody battle. I have four children and have always asked (since my communication has been severed with them) "what next?" As a parent, children are a blessing from God and being a parent is a gift only from God. Yet when that is taken away from you by the means of those of the flesh and not God through death, it is hard to reconcile your role and in some ways can feel betrayed by God's gift. It is much like being given a very nice gift for your birthday and a month later the giver takes it and pawns it off without your permission or prior knowledge. You wake up the next day and wonder what happened and if it was all just a dream or a sick joke, but take that and magnify it by 100 as you see your children grow up, have special events and struggles that you can only watch from a distance and not be a part of. Kind of like watching a movie but not being able to help the outcome. You started off with the ark, but ended up talking about the FOUR. As I was listening, all I could think of was "what can you do with the FOUR?" As I listened, I related it to my children and asked with the blessing of being a parent and the absence of the past 13 years...."What can I do with my FOUR (children)?" The thought is a dynamics twist that makes me press in on God's calling to be the father of my four children and how to approach the situation from a different perspective. I really don't know where to go from here but I do know who to go to from here. God let me be faithful with my few (four) children as you reveal to me on how to honor You with the relationship and yearning with them as well as be prayerful for them being connected with You!
Beloved Father in the Name of Jesus I ask for forgivness and repentance for my disfunctions that keep me from making the best use of your blessings. Forgive me also for any bad witness I may be bearing to others. Make me conscious and deliver me from the wrong attitudes and beliefs behind those behaviors, make me an instrument of your peace. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

I loved your example of how you only used 4 chords. Once again, I was listening to the podcast while I was driving. I loved joining you as you lead the congregation in singing. Here I am driving in rush hour traffic in Atlanta, GA when I began to hear "here I am to worship." The peace and power of God filled my car. You are a powerful preacher and teacher but you are still a powerful worship leader. A worship leader that can lead someone into the presence of the Lord!! Blessings to you!! Oh yes, I love the story about the dog!!!

I listen to Pastor Steven Furtick because he is on fire when he speaks. He feels it and he transmits his energy and passion to all that hear. It definitely gets my attention. I did a Beth Moore Bible study on David. When I hear Pastor Steven Furtick I think those words in that study, a heart like HIS.

@Pastor Steven, I have listened to this message at least a half a dozen times. What a powerful message, but something spoke volumes to me in this message and continues to resonate each time I hear it.
Over a decade ago I went through an ugly divorce and custody battle. I have four children and have always asked (since my communication has been severed with them) "what next?" As a parent, children are a blessing from God and being a parent is a gift only from God. Yet when that is taken away from you by the means of those of the flesh and not God through death, it is hard to reconcile your role and in some ways can feel betrayed by God's gift. It is much like being given a very nice gift for your birthday and a month later the giver takes it and pawns it off without your permission or prior knowledge. You wake up the next day and wonder what happened and if it was all just a dream or a sick joke, but take that and magnify it by 100 as you see your children grow up, have special events and struggles that you can only watch from a distance and not be a part of. Kind of like watching a movie but not being able to help the outcome.
You started off with the ark, but ended up talking about the FOUR. As I was listening, all I could think of was "what can you do with the FOUR?" As I listened, I related it to my children and asked with the blessing of being a parent and the absence of the past 13 years...."What can I do with my FOUR (children)?" The thought is a dynamics twist that makes me press in on God's calling to be the father of my four children and how to approach the situation from a different perspective. I really don't know where to go from here but I do know who to go to from here.
God let me be faithful with my few (four) children as you reveal to me on how to honor You with the relationship and yearning with them as well as be prayerful for them being connected with You!
Beloved Father in the Name of Jesus I ask for forgivness and repentance for my disfunctions that keep me from making the best use of your blessings.
Forgive me also for any bad witness I may be bearing to others.
Make me conscious and deliver me from the wrong attitudes and beliefs behind those behaviors, make me an instrument of your peace.
Thank you Jesus. Amen.

I've been a Christian for many many years, but never like this....never with all my heart and soul that have become filled to the brim with God and His love, where I feel blessed for every good and those that appear not so good things that I truly thank Him for them all, knowing they are all part of His plan. It's you, Pastor Steven, who has led me here with the hand of Jesus. I have had so many spiritually amazing things happen to me...things some people don't believe, but others do and are amazed. I always wish I could find a way I could talk or write to you directly, so I could tell you of these things that were made possible by you and your own relationship with God, speaking to me in ways I can finally understand and hold deeply within....forever and always!!
