My friend and I have worked many Craft shows in the Inland Empire in Southern California. My friend has come up with a zipper bag pattern made for candy and chip bags. They are completely lined and quilted. We cover them with fusible vinyl and they are adorable...we work about 4 months of the year to come up with enough for 6 - 8 shows. With COVID this year, we are currently not doing any shows...but we will be ready for 2021! It is a lot of time, but our customers seem to be happy with a "one of a kind" creation to keep or gift to family and friends. My friend works full for the County and I am retired so our schedules complement each other and we do production line sewing. Blessings!
I used to do craft shows about 4-5 years ago. I did signs, wreaths and a lot of crochet. It was a lot of hard work and I loved it. But can’t do them anymore. I have a bad form of arthritis and my hands barely let me sew dresses for grand daughters. But it was a good time in my life.
I used to do craft shows about 20 years ago when my craft partner was still alive. We both did multi-part stenciling using non-toxic paints on apparel and anything not nailed down! I also sewed catnip toys and mats. Have also made fabric flowers for sale. We never made much money but it was fun. Lots of work though, creating and lugging inventory. We stopped because we were in competition with crafts made overseas or in flea market settings where buyers wanted something for nothing. I’ve been enjoying your channel very much.
I love the fence but I really love what you did with the calendar picture. The way you added the items to the pumpkin gave it a 3D look. I really loved it!

Katelyn, I don’t think you ever run out of ideas! My favorite today is the pumpkin picture! I made the love sign with the two picture frames for my neighbor who is moving and took pictures of a couple neighbors to put in the frames.

My parents and I use to craft a lot back when the "birdhouses" were popular. Dad did the woodwork and mom and I painted. I use to always craft. Love it so much. We have been traveling for my husband's work for 2 years but we are about to be settled..I hope! Lol. That grateful pic was gorgeous!!! I worked at a florist when I was in college and learned how to make bows well. Well when I had a daughter then I made all her hair bows and someone asked me to make some for her daughter and so It took off from there and I sold hair bows for about 5 years. And yes I did arts and crafts shows and it was exhausting- family and a Faulk time job and my bow business!

I made gnomes, Christmas tree ornaments, candle holders all from dollar tree products. Sold them on line as well as at craft shows. I also did pillows from Walmart cloth

I sold wicker country hats as a set with the flowers n pearls n lace. I also made fans out of wallpaper, a set of three, one large n two smaller ones with pearls n lace n florals...made sum good money back then 🙂 it was also fun to do n meet people..I’m a people person. Luv all your DIYs 💕🙂

I loved all the projects. The grateful pumpkin was my favorite. I haven't started decorating for fall yet - we do tiny living so I have to be careful when it comes to decor. I have no storage space - everything needs to serve a dual purpose. I have been inspired by your channel though. I made a prayer board using dollar store and economical items. Foam board, paint sticks, and made your signature jute bow. I'm not a girly girl and have trouble with prettying things up, but the jute bows worked. Thank you 💓

I did craft shows in the 80’s and ‘90’s. I did a lot of locals and some out of town. It really is a lot of work and the booth fees got so high. In the ‘90’s we were building our house and I just knew I couldn’t do both, so I quit doing shows about 1994. I did have reps that sold my stuff in all the western states. But that became over whelming when we built the house and the kids started school. They went to a private school so I had to do a lot of driving. So long story short I started teaching art at their school. I have not missed doing shows at all.

My sister has a craft business and I make things to sell with her when she does shows. We usually do 3 big shows in October and November, but everything is cancelled this year due to Covid. So we are in the process of creating a Facebook page and selling there. She does vinyl signs, and I do paper crafting, flower arrangements and Christmas decor/ornaments. It’s a lot of fun!!

I sold wicker country hats as a set with the flowers n pearls n lace. I also made fans out of wallpaper, a set of three, one large n two smaller ones with pearls n lace n florals...made sum good money back then 🙂 it was also fun to do n meet people..I’m a people person. Luv all your DIYs 💕🙂

I just made a sign with the pumpkin page! I used to do crafts shows selling crocheted items. Baby items were a big hit.
My mother and I had a ceramics shop. There is a very large 3 day applefest near us . We had a booth there. Lots of work but we both really enjoyed it.

I love the sign where you used the calendar! I just several of those calendars today and I’ve got a ton of square signs! I do local craft fairs and Etsy! I’ve started on my fall products and just today started doing Christmas crafts...so many things so little time!

I loved all the projects. The grateful pumpkin was my favorite. I haven't started decorating for fall yet - we do tiny living so I have to be careful when it comes to decor. I have no storage space - everything needs to serve a dual purpose.
I have been inspired by your channel though. I made a prayer board using dollar store and economical items. Foam board, paint sticks, and made your signature jute bow. I'm not a girly girl and have trouble with prettying things up, but the jute bows worked. Thank you 💓

I did craft shows in the 80’s and ‘90’s. I did a lot of locals and some out of town. It really is a lot of work and the booth fees got so high. In the ‘90’s we were building our house and I just knew I couldn’t do both, so I quit doing shows about 1994. I did have reps that sold my stuff in all the western states. But that became over whelming when we built the house and the kids started school. They went to a private school so I had to do a lot of driving. So long story short I started teaching art at their school.
I have not missed doing shows at all.

My sister has a craft business and I make things to sell with her when she does shows. We usually do 3 big shows in October and November, but everything is cancelled this year due to Covid. So we are in the process of creating a Facebook page and selling there. She does vinyl signs, and I do paper crafting, flower arrangements and Christmas decor/ornaments. It’s a lot of fun!!

Katelyn, my Mom and I have done craft shows and yes indeed they are a bunch of work!! Then it's a long day or long 2 days sitting there as well. Then if perchance you didn't hit on just the right trend you could come home with alot of your goods back in your trunk!!
